These gloves are excellent, with a capital E. If you tried silicone a few years ago and hated it, do yourself a favour and think again. All the issues with comfort, grip and length have been solved. I prefer these to a Le Creuset, and they're about a third of the price.I have large-ish hands, my wife's are smallish. These are a fine for both of us. The wrist cover is just the right length. The material is thick enough to be completely confident in them, but not so thick that you can't feel what you're doing, and the grip pattern ... well, it just works. The lining is nice. The designers have even included wide loops so they don't ride up the hook and fall on the floor. It's a minor detail which costs practically nothing, but it's an appreciated one.The pot stand is ok, the apron is meh, but so what? It's the gloves you were looking for, right? These were exceptional value at £15 and now Amazon has reduced the price again. Just get them - you won't be disappointed. I'm buying a second pair for a friend who loved them. And I'm never going back to the old style mitts.

Bought these to replace my current oven gloves which were le creuset ones. Was attracted to these as they are less than half the price of ONE le creuset glove!!! Have to admit I was a little sceptical as usually you get what you pay for. However these are an excellent replacement. I prefer long gloves to protect my arms from the oven shelves and need good heat protection which cheap gloves don't provide; these silicone gloves deliver on both counts. I haven't given 5 stars because the gloves are very large, I have big hands for a woman (size 8) and find they are a bit too roomy for me but I am getting used to them.Will definitely buy again when they wear out. Bonus of apron and mat/holder.

So far we have only used the gloves for the oven. I can see the advantages of them with BBQ as well.The grip is very good and I like that for small baking trays etc. you can do a lot of removals one-handed. Confidence inspiring. Will never use the mat. Not because it isn't any good in itself but would not provide much heat protection to a surface beneath it. Can be used as a good source for gripping a pan to aid other processes, i.e, mashing, whisking etc.

After I eagerly ripped open the package, I wanted to test out the gloves. As I love to cook, I cranked up the oven, and tested out the gloves to make sure I wouldn’t burn my fingers while taking a dish out of the oven. I am happy to say that my fingers didn’t even feel a bit of warmth, thanks to these gloves! These are so much better than the set I got for a wedding present, which allow my fingers to hurt if I hold a hot dish for too long. I love the color as well; they bring a cheerful element to the drab London skies. I look forward to making use of this set, every day!!

If you are tempted to think you'll get value for money with this set, think again.The small square heat protector does not do its intended job. I trusted it to touch a pan under it, and I burnt my fingers on the first day of use. This flimsy material will not protect your skin.The apron has a horrible synthetic fabric, rather unpleasant to the feel. I was expecting cotton and this was more like very thin polyester type fabric. It went into the bin straight away.The main item, the gloves, would be ok if their cuff were not that narrow. Even for slightly plum arms, it is simply too tight, therefore you cannot fit the gloves up your arms properly (they are rather long, as I needed, and this why I chose this model), so they fit very unevenly on your hands, posing a risk hazard, as the grip, due to the poor fit, is very bad.Not impressed in the least with this item. They are the exact colour of one of the walls in my kitchen, so my husband did not want to return them🙄, but I will have to be buying a different pair for myself.

I highly recommend this cooking set. The quality is excellent and it's great fit. The apron is adjustable as can be seen in the pictures I have included. It's very stylish and can be bought as a gift.I bought it on Saturday and had it on Monday on a standard delivery, how good is that!It's definitely great value for money and I would buy more went they include different colours.Very happy customer, I hope my review helps other buyers to make up their minds and be happy as I am.

Unfortunately these gloves were much larger than the diagram's measurement indicated.With my very small hands it was mpossible for me to use them to remove hot items from the microwave.Luckily I received a full refund from Amazon.

I'm really happy that I bought this set. Gloves are very heat resistant, I can't feel even a little bit of warmth from the hot cast iron pot straight after taking it out of the oven (after 30+ mins of baking a bread on high heat).Would recommend it!
