Add comfort in unlikely places.
Clever little device adds comfort in unlikely places. It can sit on a nightstand or desk, or clip on to a stroller or lawn mower handle. This is a mini "swamp cooler" or evaporative cooler. They work best in hot dry climates but don't count them out in humid conditions. They do still provide a personal cooling sensation in humid situations as well. I bought this one for an un-air conditioned farm truck in humid Hawaii. It is not air conditioning, but it does keep you cooler. You can clip it on to a tractor, golf cart, work bench, a cooler on a beach or anywhere you could use an extra boost of cool. Unlike a larger evaporative cooler that can lower the temperature in a room, this device is meant to offer a cooling sensation in a small area. And it does that pretty well. The fan is relatively quiet and even quieter in slower speeds. Feels effective even at lower speeds. This video shows the micro mister and fan at top speed. The reservoir is small, but it lasts long enough. The reservoir door is tight, but easier to use once you open it for the first time. You can add Ice water and maybe some thin pieces of ice in the narrow opening, but ultimately the feeling is about the same with or without the ice. Overall, this sturdy little unit is nice to have around and well worth the modest price.

The product does not work after a bit. Good idea - bad product.
I purchased one and it worked well for a short while. I returned it and was sent another one. That one worked for a while and one side was not spraying water.

Update... Not a great way to beat the heat on the golfcourse...
I used this little fan today and it made my game so much more comfortable until the battery ran out. So I thought no big deal I'll just plug it into the USB charger, the problem is that it won't run while it is plugged in‐ who makes a fan like that? You expect a fan to run when you plug it in! At first I fully charged it and then filled the ice compartment before clipping it to the side of my golfcart. The battery only lasted for about an hour on high, certianly not long enough for the full 18 holes of golf. I carried a cup of ice water and used it to refresh the ice compartment twice during the hour it worked. I left it plugged in once it died and when it got a little bit of a charge again I was able to use it a short time longer. Definitely not worth the time, money and effort. I had such high hopes for this little fan, but I guess I need to keep searching... Oh and then after using it for a month, the clamp broke so I am no longer able the attach it to my cart. Such a let down.

I have No complaints
I don't know why people are talking about with so much negative reviews. The fan absolutely last 5 hours and it absolutely does support passthrough charging. Meaning you can run the fan while it's charging. I've seen people say it doesn't when it does. The people with short battery life claiming 20-30 mins either are not letting it charge to 100% or their fan is just defective. It does get nice a cold and if you add ice to the water chamber it gets colder. The atomizer that are the misters don't always mists because they get clogged. That's from your quality of water. Lime scale and other things in your water will clog it at some point. All you have to do is empty the water out take a q tip with vinegar or rubbing alcohol, I use vinegar mostly, and rub the outside metal misters with it. If the alcohol doesn't work I'll run a lil bit of water with some vinegar mixed in to clean the lines out. I prefer that to the alcohol. But this goes for any of the Misting AC units atomizers. I have the handheld one of these from this brand and both work great. The handheld is even colder IMO. It is very quiet, 3 speeds high is very fast. And the colors are just an added ambience for night time. And it's price is decent for the quality. So all the negative reviews are either defective devices, human error or plain just don't know what being got really is to appreciate it's benefits. I took it to Texas in 105⁰ July so yea it definitely works well.

Doesn't hold much charge- good for short periods
So, I tried a lot of portable misters and while this one was the smallest, it worked the best. There are many lame portable monsters on Amazon. I almost kept this because it worked the best, worked when hung and moved in different directions. However, the charge just would not hold. Even when I had it plugged in the entire time. You have about 45 minutes tops. Then you have to let it stay off and build up a charge again. Even if you plug it in it keeps turning off until you stop it and let it charge to full. Then it will work again for about 45 minutes. While you have to keep putting water in it, that wasn't a deal breaker because it worked so well. You should buy this is if you dont need it for long periods of time. If you need it to work for a steady amount of time, maybe buy two and switch them out. It is better than some others, but not for long periods of time.

Nice idea ,but not ideal
The fan is nice quality. The air flow is not too bad, but a little weak. I really liked the water misting. The water actually cools the air the fan blows very cool. The failure of this fan is the battery. The battery does not last long. The gimmicky lights are annoying. The lights drain the battery faster. You have to click thru several colors before the lights will turn off. The fan will not work even when plugged in when the battery is dead. This was the deal breaker why the fan was not designed to work while charging ? You have to depend on the battery which will not last very long. I really tried to like it but a weak battery makes this fan not reliable.

What a Godsend it turned out to be!
When I bought this, it was intended to be for my car. I took one look at it and said it's ginormous! And thought about returning it. Then the temps went into the mid 90's. I couldn't sleep, even with my fan on me. I attached this to my window sill, which is at the head of my bed. Even without putting water in it for the mist, it is a Godsend! It shuts off automatically so I didn't have to wake up to shut it off and then try to get back to sleep. I may need to get another one to put in my office. It's great!

We are using this fan on our golf cart. It works very well. If it’s really windy of course the mist blows all over but on a calm day the machine will cool you off. We fill it with cold water a couple of times in 18 holes. We turn in off and on depending if we are in the cart just to extend our power. I would buy again.
