UPDATE: Cancelled the return as the Heart rate monitor suddenly started working when I put a lot of water on the side sensors which was not instructed in the user manual. I knew you have to put some water but a little bit of water did not work as all. Before returning I tried one more time with a lot of water this time and it start picking up the heart rate.----------------------Did not work, the heart rate monitor never picks up anything. Returned back what a waste of time and effort....

This watch does what it says on the box and caters to all my needs in many ways. I don't just go for a run and record my laps. I use this thing in the kick boxing gym. Monitoring my heart rate, lowest and highest heart rate. Burning up to 800 calories in a 45 minute workout. I use it while skipping, burning up to 600 calories in a 45 min session. Maintain my heart beat with this watch on the fitness level, I even developed a nice smooth swing with my rope. Maintaining your heart rate is the best way to workout with what ever sport. this watch is one to have with you as you train for sure. One time. If this is what your aims or similar are... buy it and be happy cause this thing is SICK!

this is a nice simple unit to use. clear display and warning alarms to warn you are getting to high/to low from your desired HR zone. buttons are big enought to operate even with winter gloves on.the only thing i'd like to be able to do is switch between zones at a touch of a button, ie. when i'm in low aerobic and i'd like to monitor 5 minutes of anerobic, a simple switch button would be usefull. other than that, its great.
