Fabulous bit of kit. Not had one of these things before, but don't know why I didn't. Much safer than leaving it lying around on the passenger seat.It locks into the air vent rather than gripping it, which seems much safer. I've driven with it on country roads and not had any vibration problems. Also, I didn't realise it has a system where you just stick the phone in the cradle and press and the arms click into place automatically. May seem unnecessary, but I can't be bothered with lots of messing about when I get in and out of the car, so it's good to have a good system like this.Great product.

Great product! So easy to assemble, no instructions required. Fits easily into vent and held in place by spring attachment. Can be slightly fiddly to release, but that is a very minor point. You can just easily leave the holder in the vent. The mechanism to open the holder makes it so much easier than spring pull ones when placing the phone. Pressing the phone into the holder locks it down perfectly. So much easier to view the phone now!

Got fed up with the window sucker mounts as apart from falling off mid drive, they are also an obstruction to your view. I also recently changed cars and had air vents just large enough that i thought it might hopefully work.For anyone with an i10, it fits fine on the vent on the passenger side of the middle console and angles towards the driver. On the vent nearest the driver, it is obstructed by the steering wheel.I own a Oneplus 3 which only just squeezes in, but the mechanism still locks it in place just fine.Overall, I think this is the best solution I'll find at this price point. Feels fairly sturdy and I don't mind buying a replacement if it only lasts a year or so.

Nexus 6P owners beware, if you use any type of case for your phone then it will not fit this holder. I have the Spigen one). At maximum reach this holder will only just about hold the 6P so keep this in mind. For this reason of no wiggle room, I have taken away 2 stars. Quality wise it is superb.

East to fit in a minute. Adjustable to suit the angle of the vent. Best with phone that do not have vol control on the side as this may be on the same location as the side clamps like my phone - but I got round this by cutting off some of the foam grip. Now works very well.

The grips are not deep enough for a Samsung Galaxy K Zoom, which is 1" (25mm) thick. I cannot comment on how it works or lasts, as it was unsuitable for my phone.

Didn’t last long enough

Very good hold. Does the job, looks more expensive than it actually is. Very practical.Why not 5 stars then?-Due to the way it attaches, it will jump up on a particularly bumpy road (or if you attack a speed bump too aggressively). That said it will still hold the phone very well no matter the bump.-in BMW if you mount it on a central vent, it can sometimes press the programmable radio buttons.
