Definitely a sturdy, heavy based paper towel holder that you can rip towels off one-handed but only the name brand paper towels seem to fit easily. The cheaper ones have an issue with fitting.

This really does work!I purchase the paper towels where you can tear off half or whole sheets.I got tired of tearing off 3 sheets at once and having to roll back onto the roll again; no longer an issue! This paper towel holder looks nice, the seller got it to me quickly and properly but I am not happy with the product itself. The knob at the top is too small to keep the paper towel roll on the holder. Near the end of the roll, the roll of towels inches up (centrifugal force?) and has nearly come off the holder. I find that, even though I use full sheet paper towels, I often get part of a towel or two or three towels when I'm attempting to quickly remove towels from the holder.I will recommend than none of my friends or family members purchase this item.

I bought this because it looked like it would be strong, solid item. The spindle is already bending on the base after one roll of paper towels. The base is OK. Doesn't move. It is just very weak on the spindle area.

No more unwinding the whole roll of paper towels!
