This is a great replacement set. I used them on a set of vintage Sennheiser HD 545s. Better quality velour than the original, easy installation, they fit perfectly and are very comfortable. Balance and soundstage seem unchanged. Highly recommended.

I bought these for my Massdrop 6xx headphones, and the setup instructions were extremely helpful and easy to access. I struggled with the headband before checking the box and finding the instructions with a video demonstration, and I was immediately able to get it installed. Ear pads attached without a hitch. These are extremely comfortable and sit a little bit higher than the original pads, which I really like

The clips do not aligned with the grooves which they are supposed to go into on the Massdrop x Sennheiser 6xx's. I thought I received the wrong ones and placed another order and received the same item which did not work. I will be ordering genuine ones going forward. Save yourself the time.Pros:Material and cushion is acceptable quality.Cons:They came as grey and not black as described.Did not come with the headband both times.

Solid material quality and no harder to install than other earpads I've tried

I should have looked at the reviews before to see the pictures of what these actually look like. Don't be fooled by the Make your Headphones Great Again or comparison photos. The plushness if way closer to the before than the after photos. They're just nowhere near as plush as they appear in the photos. The rippling from where the fabric is secured in the photos seems to go up to the halfway point where in actuality the rippling on what I received goes up more like 95%. They're not uncomfortable and I'm not totally dissatisfied, but I know I'm getting way less longevity than I was bargaining for. I wish I just spent the extra $20 for the OEMs.

I've purchased at least four sets of AHG sheepskin pads and a suspension strap (all for other headphones) over the last couple of years, and their construction has been flawless every time. I ordered this velour kit for my HD58X Jubilee expecting the same experience, and AHG delivered once again.Installing the kit is easy -- this is primarily due to the design of the headphones, but the quality of the parts being installed plays a part, too (AHG even includes a QR code for an installation video, in case you are unfamiliar with the process).My factory pads reached the end of their service life long ago, so I no longer have them for A/B sound comparisons. The only thing I can say regarding sound quality is that after about 20 hours of listening (not all in one session), I have not noticed anything that sounds "wrong" or wildly different to the factory pads. I do remember that my factory pads were thinner when new than the AHG pads, but this doesn't seem to have a negative impact on the sound, either.I found the factory pads to be comfortable, and the thicker AHG pads are comfortable as well; I was worried that they would add clamping force against my ears/head, but they are pain-free to use. Because they are velour, however, they get just as warm as the factory pads; for me, this is mildly annoying, but will not deter me from using the pads. If you're looking for velour at a lower-than-the-name-brand price, AHG has you covered.

Can't tell much difference between these pads and stock, but they are a bit different. It's great that this kit comes with the headband too. Now, go find yourself a great deal on a used HD headphone someone's worn out on their greasy head, and use this to make them good as new!
