Bought this to repot herbs bought in the supermarket, so I cannot comment on the quality of the seeds. Very happy overall as my kitchen window sill looks a lot tidier now. I was very pleased to see that the pots have a hole at the bottom so excess water can drain and there is a very discreet plastic tray to protect the wood from water. So pleased I'll probably get a second one down the line and have more herbs to choose from! :)

I was really hopeful that I would be able to grow some herbs. The planter is rustic looking. I really like it. That’s what the 2 stars are for.The planting was straightforward. The instructions were clear. After a short time some shoots appeared. I was very pleased with myself. That feeling didn’t last long when after another 3 weeks the herbs just stopped growing. I am going to do what many previous reviewers have done and put supermarket herbs in the pots.

We wanted fresh vegetables rather than ones grown in a factory. This was made available as a lighting deal and we wasn't expecting much for the price tbh. After only 2 weeks we can see a noticeable difference in the plants that are growing, our chives are already full grown and only been there for 2 - 3 weeks. The kit consists of everything you need to grow your own veg, and you can add different seeds in there (not just the ones provided) comes with a crayons as well, so you can write which vegetables are growing. Ideal for kids as well as they like seeing every day how big they are getting. Overall good price and ideal for simple easy to grow vegetables.

I've never considered myself to have much of a green thumb but purchased this kit to try it out and it worked pretty well. The basil and parsley sprouted well and have been growing well. The chives however, did not grow, not sure what went wrong. I only wish these guys make more kits like these! Would love to try coriander, mint, etc as well

I have purchased 2 of these products in hopes of planting herbs on each side of the windowsill. As I unwrapped the parcels, I immediately noticed the wooden panels used having a greyish colour and having splinters coming out of it. Overall,I do not believe buying 2 of these products are worth around 40 pounds. Upon placing them on my wi dowsill, they looked rather cheap unfortunately. As I ordered these due to having narrow windowsills which these products's specification of 9.5 cm should fit, I was dissapointed to realise that some of the crate was hanging out over the windowsill. Due to all of these issues,I have now returned this product and received a refund.
