Cherry Porthos
Became aware of this bush like Cherry Tree a couple of years ago, reminded myself to get one. Best price was on Amazon! not always the case but was a nice surprise :-) Anyway item received in one piece looks healthy enough, have re-potted to larger pot and now it's time to nurture and watch it grow, will keep in green house for a while to grow a little before putting it outside. Always liked cherry trees and their blossoms are amazing! will likely get some more if this one does well.

Strong Healthy Porthos Cherry Bush
Pic. shows how it arrived. It was well protected in a large box. Planted next day after a good watering and is still looking strong and healthy after the first week. Would recommend this seller. Edit on 5th February 2020: I may have made a mistake in where I planted it in the middle of the "lawn", well grass then. The bush has not grown at all since it was planted in 2018, it is not dead but still the same size. I shall be moving it as soon as the time is right in a couple of weeks.. Update May 2025: Sadly I couldn't get the tree to 'weep' as it was supposed to. It grew well but again, sadly, I only ever had a crop of 6 cherries that were so sour, not edible except for the birds. The blossom was lovely but the tree grew very untidy and not being productive I removed it last year. I was informed by a gardener that to produce fruit the tree needed a pollinator that my garden didn't possess.

Hopefully will fruit next year.
The plant arrived as a healthy 30cm stem plant, not terribly sturdy and ready for a good feed and watering. I planted it immediately, on arrival. It has not flowered this year as I suspect the heatwaves has had a profound impact on such a new plant. This said, it is growing slowly and hopefully will fruit next year.

Arrived in fair condition
A large tree looks well grown. Plenty of lychen on branches in full dormant state. But no sign of life like in bud. Which given it will have or supposed to have spring blossom in 3/4 weeks time. So im reserving judgment. Will update as time goes along.

Poor specimen
Arrived bone dry . A poor specimen of a tree . Leaves are brown with a fungus disease which i believe to be cherry tree spot .

Very healthy Both plants have started to fruit. I am over the moon with them both looking forward to seeing how they grow And flourish I have put both plants, a centrepiece in my front and back garden. The picture with the 2 cherry trees is the back garden. The picture with the pansies is the front garden.
