The steps to be taken are laid out in detail and with helpful hints. It also allows those not of a Greek Orthodox background to participate in the funerary rites and avoid giving unintended offence- the tips for the Heterodox as to what they should or should not do will be most helpful for those with Greek friends and are not familiar with Greek traditions.

Its actually really good. I've never taken our culture that seriously but my mom does and she's been unwell so I ended up reading it cos I don't really know what to do or how to help her. Its really well written and helpful. Its full of all the stuff you just wouldn't think of so now I feel like i know what to do when something happens. It is pretty Greek but i think it still kind of applies no matter what you are.
