I am so excited about how this works. For 2 years since I adopted my chihuahua I have been trying to find a grinder that he won't freak out at. I have had to clip his nails until now but I'm always terrified of hitting the quick, he won't let groomers do it either.It is for sure the quietest nail grinder I have tried. My dog is scared of the sound of normal grinders, but have absolutely NO issue of me sitting down for 20 minutes to do his nails. Again it's been two years and this is the first time I have successfully ground his nails without sedation from the vet. This isn't for big dogs as it isn't too powerful, but that's probably how they keep it so quiet. For my needs (and small dogs scared of sound) it is perfect.

This is not powerful enough to sand down nails even on our 20 lbs dogs. I tried for many, many minutes just to do 1 nail! I finally gave up. Yes, I am experienced with trimming nails, it’s not operator error! Goodwill pile it went!

7 lb Chihuahua it works fine, I had a pedi paws about 5 years ago and if a slight breeze hit it it would stop turning. This thing is okay for small dogs and it does have a amount of torque compared to what I had in the past. Initial charge was two full hours. Right now I'll give it 4 stars for a small doggy.

Great product just not meant for dogs who hate getting their nails done. Because it definitely takes patience with this one it took me a good thirty minutes to grind down my pugs nails and boy was she maad!

It’s quiet. Loses power pretty quickly though. I wouldn’t recommend you purchase this item if you have more than one dogs nails to do. It would be better for a very small dog or cat.

Perfect we have a pug who hates his feet touched but we did get his nails trimmed and he gave no problems with the Dremel. It was harder to trim then use the Dremel on his nails. Thank you

To anyone reading this I must warn you that using this tool takes foreverrrr. But it does work well once you have the patience

Just out of the box, the grinder comes with one head attached to the grinder and the charging cable. Works well, I bought it for my cat so not like it will be heavy lifting. I'm happy with it!

My dog is, by nature, nervous. I have always hated clipping her nails, so I often didn't. This grinder has totally changed how we both feel about it. I can't say she likes it or that she isn't nervous, but she is no longer in panic mode. The grinder is nearly silent which is really helpful, and the more I use it on her, the better she gets. I love that her nails are smooth. With clipping they were sharp after I cut them. I'm just sorry I didn't buy this 10 years ago when I got her. It would have saved us both a lot of stress. Definitely recommended!!!!
