JETech Case for Samsung Galaxy S4, Protective Cover, Black

A snug fitting glove for the S4. As per the description it consists of two layers. The main layer is a flexible rubber like material which fits all around the phone. It is a snug fit and looks flexible enough to absorb a knock from being dropped without damaging the phone or shattering (naturally I haven't tested this). There is also a harder finish layer covering the back and sides of the case, this seems to be both decorative and to provide a stiffening layer for the case. Overall the combination seem to be very effective and, in matt black, it looks good.I did see a review that complained about the button covers interfering with the power / sound buttons, I have not experienced this the case buttons fit neatly over the phone buttons and if anything offer an extra protective layer to keep out dust and moisture so I certainly have no issues here, they have already protected the phone from a drink spill!Finally, the case is quite slim and doesn't significantly add bulk to the phone, which for something as big as an S4 is a good thing. Overall very happy with the case and would consider a similar design if I upgrade either my phone or one belonging to the family.Update 31 Jan 2017. The phone has been dropped a few times now but is still intact. The most recent drop in cold weather cracked off part of the harder outer case already damaged by use and a previous drop thus compromising the splash sealing around the phone buttons. The inner part was still protecting the phone but I have replaced the case with another one, the phone inside was still in mint condition. So despite being anoyed with myself for damaging the original case it has done it's job and kept my phone safe so I'm still very happy with it.

This case is superb for my Galaxy S4, strong, sleek and smooth. I can't fault the case other than it is not light, Although offers good protection and is a worthy investment for anyone.

I am happy with this case, so far. I haven't dropped the phone yet, however, (fingers crossed!) so I haven't been able to see how well it absorbs shocks. Here is what I can say:It is solid and sturdy and fits the phone very well. The screen of the phone lies recessed about 1 mm below the rim of the case, which provides some protection to the screen (I can lay the phone on the side of the screen without fear of damage to it).The case covers the phone's side buttons with buttons of its own. This may be a pro (extra protection) or a con. These buttons are harder to press. Due to the increased force I have to apply, sometimes I accidentally press the buttons on the opposite side.As a minor con, the case is hard and smooth and does not cling much to the surface the phone is lying on, so it can slip more easily than with more rubbery cases.

cant fault it for the price, well made and fits my S4 perfectly, its as slim line as it could be, looks smart and will certainly offer protection for the phone casing, obviously not the screen. Pleased with it

I used this case for 2 months and due to using wider earphone jacks I had to remove the case to get them in, the removal of the case created breakages in the hard plastic part of the case and I had to keep supergluing parts back into place until it reached a point now where I've had to buy a new case.Otherwise its extremely nice as its protective without the need for a thick chunky case however due to the jack hole being too small its not for me.

Some reviews say this case does not fit but it fits my Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-i9515 perfectly. It's a little more chunky than my 'barely there' case but it protects the buttons more because they are completely covered - all ports are accessible and the buttons work as they should. To fit properly the case has to be manipulated into place, this is made possible because the top and bottom are made of a pliable silicon-type plastic which has some movement. The protective back and sides are made of a more durable and rigid type of plastic. Insert one side and then ease over the second side - it looks like it's too tight but when you gently ease the back the case pops up right over the second side giving a really nice fit. I'm really pleased with this case. Only down side if there is one is, it's a little tricky to take off, it's fine if you take your time but it's not suitable for a quick swap or if you need to change your case often.

Looks great, fitted great, protected the phone, BUT the back of the case developed a crack starting at the hole for the camera, progressing downwares. I sent this back, ordered again, but the same thing happened to the replacement the very next day.

This product arrived a day earlier than expected. It is great quality and my phone feels very protected in it. It also comes with a clear screen protector, a cloth to wipe your screen and a little 'pen' which can be used to operate the touch screen instead of your finger.

La coque semble solide et je pense qu'elle protégera bien mon vieux Galaxy S4. Les ouvertures (caméra, chargement, prise casque) correspondent parfaitement. Même chose pour les boutons de volume ou de démarrage. De plus, on peut obtenir une garantie à vie chez le fabricant en s'inscrivant sur son site. Que demander de plus ?

Aunque ya es un terminal con tiempo, quería buscar una buena funda para protegerlo, ya que aun tiene que dar mucha guerra. Al recibir la funda me sorprendí por la calidad y dureza de la misma. En el artículo más o menos se apreciaba esto, pero en mano es muy confortable.Si acaso lo único, que se nota que pesa el teléfono un poco más, pero da una protección perfecta y se ajusta muy bien al terminal.Recomendado

This protective case is well finished with a smooth surface and feels quite sturdy reflecting sturdy build quality.WHAT IS GOOD ABOUT ITIt perfectly dos what it supposed to do, protecting your phone. Fits snug and tight, comfortable in your hand without adding extra bulk. The rear surface is smooth with a rubber like feel which adds that anti slip protection while holding the phone or mounting it on your car dashboard / windshield phone holder. I had dropped the phone twice on a rocky terrain and asphalt but nothing happened to the phone except for few scratches on the case.WHAT IS NOT SO GOOD ABOUT ITNothing. The case being too tight to fit the phone ( That is how it should be, to protect your phone) you might have to try couple of times to fit it without pinching the edges. It is not a flaw but just matter of inconvenience. Initially I had to do it multiple times to get it right but now I got the hang of it.BOTTOM LINEIt is value for money. I would buy it again. I have read several reviews complaining about the edges getting pinched while inserting the phone. Yes, it is not easy but after some time you will be able to get the hang of it to do it right the very first time. It is little tricky but not difficult. Since it is snug and tight, the phone fits perfectly providing better protection without feeling bulky.

It's pretty much exactly what I wanted. I didn't want to add a lot of bulk to my phone I just wanted something to protect it in case I accidentally drop it. Had to be light and increase grip a slight bit. The casing is a little tricky getting on 'perfectly' but taking it on and off a few times I managed to get it covering the phone perfectly. Definitely snug. I can plug in the charger and headphones etc without issue. No complaints seems good and what I imagined.
