I liked the wooden base and black finish on metal area.Using for storing Global kitchen shears and wooden utensils.Shears will not get blunted by contact with wooden base.Cost a fraction of the price of the storage unit sold by Global for the shears!

This item is much smaller than it looks so if you have long implements, they don't look great because it's so small and the handles keep sticking through the gaps. It would look better if it was another 3-4 inches taller.
