Definitely rebuying
More vinegary than I had anticipated and the mushroom is more aftertaste, but it goes great with chicken and as a dip for fries and fried fish. It’s also great as a marinade and seems to enhance the flavor of everything I put it on especially burgers. It is not the consistency of ketchup it is more watery, adding a nozzle or spout might help with pouring like some vinegars have. Glad I tried it and will continue to order.

Such great flavor in a small glass bottle
Not sure exactly what I expected. The Mushroom Ketchup comes in a small glass bottle. The bottle has no shaker spout to limit the amount that pours out (which I think would be a really good idea!!). It smells somewhat like Worcestershire sauce, but with a bit of a kick. I have taken to adding it to my salads -- yummy! Can't wait to try on a burger ... feels like using it connects our family to history1

Umami
So looking for that, umami flavor that you cannot reach with all of these other things that are out there. These modern day, Umami things. Well, you need to reach back in time and check out. Mushroom ketchup, this is the O.G. Umami. The consistency is thin. I can use it in any soup stew soup whatever. I can use it as dashes on a stake if I want to umami ...this is the way to go. Beef, fish, chicken vegetables, you name it. A couple of drops of this is going to kick your umami flavor into high gear. It is so deep and concentrated is amazing.

A Brittish secret for Americans, "Brown ketchup", which isn't ketchup
This mild (broth-like, with a tiny hint of worstchestshire) slightly salty condiment is so versatile and fun.The British refer to it as "brown ketchup - not tomato - brown ketchup", was the line of a popular British comedy sci-fi series where the android was shocked that "ketchup" was put on lobster. That scene basically explains how good this stuff is, you can put it on lobster. If you see some one adding it to something, there's no judgment (Red ketchup on the other hand led to the rest of the scene). "Ketchup on Lobster!!??" (the android's head literally explodes).I use it is meat marinades, burger, seafood, condiment, whatever...

Who would have suspected that mushroom catsup would be so good? I like trying new things, so I gave it a shot. What a surprise! So delicious! Try a good slug on your burger before you throw on the cheese. Umami blast! It's also great on scrambled eggs. Sorry if I grossed you out, but once you try it you will understand.Give it a shot. Wonderful Flavour from times long ago
This stuff is amazing! Have been hunting everywhere for it. It was a must-have staple in every kitchen from the 1600’s to the victorians! I have a recipe to make it but this is just as good. It’s salty but you lose that salty taste on the meats and just get a wonderful savoury yumminess! It’s is great on meats of all kind - my favourite is beef. No spiciness just savoury goodness. Ordered 4 more.

Good strong flavour
You don't need much in the dish, to make the flavour pop out. I bought this as an experiment and thought it was cheap at the time, and it is because the quality is amazing with not just one, but 2 bottles. The flavour has an earthy quality which you'd expect from Mushroom ketchup but reminds me of a cross between Soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce. Works well in all kinds of foods from Chinese cooking to Italian to good old fashioned shepherd's pie. Try it, it'll become a permanent feature in your kitchen cupboards.
