Best 4K LED TV on the Market: My Personal Take
The media could not be loaded. I can confidently say this TV ranks at the top of my list for 4K LED models.Beyond the impressive screen color and brightness, integrated Alexa support, and overall performance, I believe what separates a good TV from a top-tier one are three critical factors:Seamless 4K Streaming and Local Network ConnectivityThis TV fully utilizes high-speed internet, supporting speeds up to 245 Mbps, which is more than enough for smooth 4K streaming across platforms like Netflix, Prime, and Disney+. It also connects flawlessly to a local network, allowing effortless transfer of large 4K files—perfect for accessing content from a personal media server.Support for Ultra HD Blu-ray (Level 5.1) - HEVC/H.265 Main 10 Profile, Level 5.1 (10-bit depth)This TV is fully capable of playing Ultra HD Blu-rays at Level 5.1, the highest level I currently own. This ensures it handles the highest-quality 4K HDR content with ease.Bonus: Since Level 5.1 is already very advanced, it supports all lower levels too, making it perfect for most users.Massive Codec SupportWith a large movie library in various formats—like .mp4 and .mkv—this TV’s compatibility has impressed me. It handles different codecs seamlessly, eliminating the need to convert files to make them playable.Internet Speeds:Ethernet: Maxed out at 100 Mbps (picture attached).Wi-Fi: Maxed out at 245 Mbps (picture attached).Sound Quality:The sound is loud and crystal clear. I don’t feel the need for external speakers.Pro Remote Control:Included for free (worth ~£30), adding great value. It is a nicer upgrade from my old remote. (picture attached)This TV is a fantastic option for anyone looking for a top-notch 4K LED experience without the price tag of QLED or OLED.Very very happy with this purchase.PerformanceIt boots up with 5 seconds, really really fast. The TV is incredibly fast—I’ve never experienced lag when playing 4K content or navigating menus. (Video proof attached.)Unboxing and Setup: Took me about 15 minutes.Installed Updates: Another 15 minutes.Picture Quality: The picture is crystal clear, and I didn’t need to adjust the brightness.Mainly, I use it to play HEVC/H.265 Main 10 Profile, Level 5.1 (10-bit depth)—one of the highest 4K UHD formats I own. Note: You’ll need to install VLC Player to access these files. It should support (HEVC/H.265 Main Profile / Level 5.1HEVC/H.265 Main Profile / Level 5HEVC/H.265 Main Profile / Level 4.1HEVC/H.265 Main Profile / Level 4HEVC/H.265 Main Profile / Level 3.1HEVC/H.265 Main Profile / Level 3HEVC/H.265 Main Profile / Level 2.1HEVC/H.265 Main Profile / Level 2HEVC/H.265 Main Profile / Level 1HEVC/H.265 Main 10 Profile / Level 5HEVC/H.265 Main 10 Profile / Level 4.1HEVC/H.265 Main 10 Profile / Level 4HEVC/H.265 Main 10 Profile / Level 3.1HEVC/H.265 Main 10 Profile / Level 3HEVC/H.265 Main 10 Profile / Level 2.1HEVC/H.265 Main 10 Profile / Level 2HEVC/H.265 Main 10 Profile / Level 1HEVC/H.265 Main Still Picture ProfileMPEG-4 AVC/H.264 High Profile / Level 5.1MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 High Profile / Level 5MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 High Profile / Level 4.1MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 High Profile / Level 4.0MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 Main Profile / Level 4.1MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 Main Profile / Level 3.1MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 Baseline Profile / Level 3.1MPEG-4 Part 2 Simple ProfileMPEG-4 Part 2 Advanced Simple ProfileMPEG-2)

Excellent TV for the money!
I bought this after returning a Toshiba Fire TV. Specs all good, but I didn't think to check it would take a Freesat box. I live out in the wild (15 minutes from Tunbridge Wells 🙄) and we can't get a Freeview signal, so being able to use Freesat is essential. If you're in the same position then this TV is perfect! I'm not up on all of the technical specs, but it has great picture quality, can download and easily use all the apps I want/need, sound is good and for the size it's a great price. The only issue I had was the legs being on the ends of the TV and my cabinet not quite being wide enough, plus needing it to be at an angle so everyone can see it (stupidly shaped lounge!) I did think I might have to send it back but then discovered I could use a stand that's central and swivels, that uses the holes you'd use to attach it to a wall with the same brackets - so for under £20 I can now turn the TV to any angle I want, which is perfect. It's got enough hdmi/usb ports etc that is needed. It probably isn't the most amazing TV on the market, but I'd rather have this one that's still great quality and save myself a grand!!So only one star off simply due to it making more sense to have a central stand rather than legs either end - other than that it would be 5*

Brilliant all round except one feature
Brilliant quality, connectivity and picture resolution (can’t comment on sound as it goes through Sonos sound bar).Only one niggle, that hopefully an OS software update will fix soon - the full page live Guide is VERY, VERY slow to load, doesn’t contain many channels per screen, often loads “last viewed” (ie shows yesterdays programmes instead of now), fails to jump to what is showing now, and when a channel is selected often displays a blank page. All the other methods of showing what’s on are quick, accurate, have PiP and work fine, hence me thinking it is definitely a software issue.Bought in Black Friday sale - amazing tv for the price paid.

Great TV for a great price! (Just a couple of minor issues, but not deal breakers!)
I'm really happy with my Fire TV 4 (43")! we upgraded from a very old 32" smart TV and this feels SO much bigger!! Lol it's lovely and sleek with a barely-there bezel and easy to fit, elegant legs. The features are really intuitive, and it was so easy to set up (with smart phone in hand!). My only criticism is the default media player for playing from usb... I didn't expect it to play AVI files, as that's an old format now (& almost everything worth watching on a 4k TV comes in MP4 OR MKV these days!) BUT you literally can't manage subtitle Giles AT ALL (as in .srt files). Some downloads will play embedded subtitles but some don't (I haven't figured out which, or why, yet!) and although you can install VLC media play on it, you can't adjust the aspect ratio in VLC on fire?! So you either have to put up with a stretched picture or no subs!Streaming works flawlessly, and it linked up wirelessly to my Majority Soundbar without a hitch (though I did have to do a factory reset after 2 weeks because the audio from the blu ray on HDMI just stopped working! It was easy to fix once I figured out what was wrong). All in all, for under ÂŁ250 it's a bargain!
