My classroom (library) has two offices in it that have a large window on a shared wall. A counselor uses one office, while the other is my private office. I wanted to use this film to keep students from looking into my office and also somewhat maintaining the privacy of students she may be having a session with. I thought this film would work so I ordered a role. Installation was easier than I thought it would be. The hardest part was peeling off the backing material. However, once I had the film in place, I realized that the film did not produce the effect I was looking for. I had a little difficulty seeing through the film from my office, but the people on the other side of the window had no problem seeing into my office. I am not sure if the issues came from the fact that the film was used on an interior window with artificial light from both sides, or what, but the film was unable to be used for what I ordered it for. We even tried applying film to both sides of the glass, and it was a little better, but still did not work as well as we wanted. In the end I taped the film (with the backing in place) onto a large piece of white paper, and used that in the window. It is not what I initially wanted, but in the end it is better than nothing. I did not try the film on an "outside facing" window, so there is a chance it will work better in that situation.

overall great quality, it is a bit see through with lights so if you're looking for complete black out this is not the one.
