Eddie Bauer Women's Rainier Pant

These are the exact pants you can buy at the Eddie Bauer store, but with the ease of ordering from Amazon. Great product for an awesome price. They are water resistant and great for hiking in any climate. I wear them to walk my dog, but maybe your adventures will be grander.

I do like them and wear them for dog walks, but they are advertised as being for women, while they fit like they were made for men and just rebranded for women. It’s one thing if these had been advertised as unisex, but I expect women’s garments to be made for people with curves at the waist not the straight lines most men have. They do not make allowances for your hips, by cupping them like most made for women pants do. You need to use the belt to snug them in for that, otherwise they can slip down past your hip bones. I expected better considering the label and cost.

I've been wearing this type of pants for @ three years. I now have six pairs. For years I wore jeans and they would wear out wgery my thighs meet. These pants dont even show any wear. The only thing that has faded is the logo. I can normally wear a pair for several days. Any spills wipe right off. I have both black and tan. Both wear well. I wish I had discovered them 20 years ago. While a single pair is more than twice a pair of jeans - it would have saved the world from having to recycle 20 pairs.

These worked out great for me. I got them for a hike in the Lake District of Scotland, they held up well. Very windy and a bit of rain, they dried quick so I wasn't mislabel on the drive out.For reference, I got a size 12, weight is 165 and I'm 5'6. Fit with a slight wiggle room, but not too loose.

I bought these for a 3-day hike in wet conditions. They were just the right weight, sturdy but not too heavy. They don’t look like obvious hiking pants so I can wear them as everyday pants as well.

I love that the 4 fits me perfectly (5'7 125 lbs) and that they seem to be good quality. The pockets aren't perfect, though, because the two front ones are shallow and the cargo pocket is a bit too short to completely fit my phone so I can't zip it. There are no back pockets. Why do the people who design these think women don't need real usable pockets?? Still at this price these are better than most.

Great comfort, fast drying.Good for hiking in but can also wear as casual around town pants.
