The media could not be loaded. Some people have commented on lack of brightness: Brightness is relative - this bulb is intended for a shallow reptile setup. UV rays are the main consideration, not brightness. These absolutely output good UV. I do not want to blind my lizard, the brightness from this bulb is exactly what I want. To properly measure the performance of the bulb, you would have to have a light meter - which none of us do. This seems to work as intended, based on the attitude and color of my gecko.Some have commented that this bulb only lasted a couple weeks: florescent bulbs have been in production long enough that the "quality" of the bulb is not something you should even consider. If you have bulbs failing prematurely you more than likely have an issue with your ballast (the fixture), or you have a power issue feeding the ballast. In 30 years I've never seen florescent light issues be traced back to fault bulbs, it's ALWAYS the ballast or power feed.Some people have commented on the bulb failing after 6 months or so: it's a UV bulb. it's supposed to be replaced every six months MAX. If your pet is your main concern, you should replace the bulb every 3 to 6 months - depending on your personal preference.Some have commented on receiving broken bulbs: You could tackle your delivery driver the next time you see him, but commenting here is pointless.Some have commented: "it works".I agree.This bulb has the best value for money, and it fits.

Literally broke the same day I was installing on my zoo med T5. I was setting when the side connector broke since you have to lock the light in place in order for it to work. From the looks it’s very cheap made and I didn’t get the same to try the light but probably bad as well. I should’ve known not to get it and get the legit brand instead cheap garbage.

I’ve purchased this twice and both times it has lasted a long time before needing to be replaced…longer than the ones I’ve purchased in actual stores. And can’t beat the convenience of Amazon…

I was so happy when this light arrived unbroken! It came in a huge box, which seemed so unnecessary but it worked to keep it in one piece. The light works well, and my lizards like it. I would buy this again! It beats the prices at the pet store.

These are less than half of what you would pay at one of the pet store chains. Great value!

This light worked well and looked good but unfortunately the lifespan was very short. While no claim to a lifespan was given by the manufacture, the product pages of similar bulbs say it should last around 13,000 hours. Mine was on 12 hours a day and lasted about 166 days or 1992 hours.

Order twice, and had to return the both. They didn't work at all
