My son has wanted this plow for a long time. Finally he saved enough money for it. It arrived quickly and was fairly simple to put together with the proper tools. He has yet to use it in the field, but has big plans for it. It is a well designed plow and works for multiple tractors with sleeve hitches. He has a JD 210 that he will run it on. It is very sturdy and heavy. Glad he finally got it!

The product works as it should. I plowed 100x50 plot in my grassy yard. Although, I initially got into it with the Brinley company because they included a defective part that was supposedly inspected and passed. Clearly, it was welded wrong. The turnaround was fast in the Brinley office. But the shipping department carelessly threw the part in the back causing the part to arrive many days late. So it blew my intended plowing weekend. Ultimately, my rye is several inches shorter this year thanks to the careless JA's at Brinley. Goes to show how important redundancy is in a company. But then again, many people aren't smart enough to make that a reality. Anyway. Bottom line is that the part works. But you better take the time to check your stuff the day it arrives. Or you might be in for an unpleasant surprise. Made in USA doesn't mean much anymore considering the mindless temporaries that work in factories today.

I looked around online and found that Amazon not only had the lowest price, but also had it available for free 2 day shipping via Prime! Woo Hoo! This is at least a 60 pound plow, so getting it in 2 days for 'free' (probably would have cost 1/2 my Prime membership cost to just ship this) was a real bonus. Brinly has been making plows for a long time, so I figured this was going to be a decent unit. The assembly portion of the directions could use some work. You have to follow them very carefully to set the plow up properly. I installed the coulter mount upside down the first time and had to push the pin out and flip it around. Not a huge deal, but you need a punch and hammer to do it. Some of the parts had some minor scratches on them. The Brinly label on the support bar was torn a bit, but other than this everything looked pretty good in terms of 'road rash' from shipping. Fit and finish of the parts were good. The crimped lock nuts can be pretty tough to torque down by hand, so you might want to tighten them up with an air impact wrench if you have arthritis etc. The plow is a lot better quality and beefier than I anticipated. This was a whole new game for me. I never plowed anything before, but needed to before rototilling to make it easier on the equipment. I also never set up a plow before, but if you follow the instructions you should be good. After I assembled the plow and mounted it on my tractor's sleeve hitch, it only took me 10 min to get the plow set where it would flip the ground over about 5-6" deep. Made 2 passes, some adjustments in between, and it was set! I put this on a 1990s 1700 series AGCO/Allis (Simplicity Landlord) garden tractor with 18hp Briggs, hydro trans and electric-actuated sleeve hitch to raise & lower the plow. I'm running Dee Stone 23 x 10.50-12 AG tires on the rear with 50# wheel weights (100# total) & 'turfies' on the front. It plows really well in my sandy loam soil.

I purchased this for my 60's Cub Cadet 122 model Garden Tractor. Assembly was very easy and straightforward. I have since used the plow to turn over about 1/3 of an acre of virgin land that previously had horses on it -- packed down hard. This plow glides through the soil easily and is very heavy duty and of good quality. I highly recommend it. See my video series on the assembly and use if you're interested: [...]

The instructions on assembling this plow are at most vague, the bolts that hold the plow to the frog will not let the standard attach to the frog. I had to have a machine cut some of the standard to make at fit! A very aggravating piece to assemblr
