Great device, very robust unit.You get a lot of control of the device which is nice to have.Zoom is not too smooth and motion very much depends on my signal strength and refresh.Picture quality is good, with a choice of motion detect sensitivity settings and 10 user preset positions available. Also with overlap in picture it is possible to cover 360 deg in the horizontal motion.I am using internal memory card for storing alarm pictures and videos, I found the email alarms are too frequent to keep this switched and would drive me to paranoia but I did try and it worked well, sending several pictures of any trigger event.Review of any triggers on the memory card are easy to find via the app as they are all listed in date/time order, rolling record overwrite will allow the camera to store all my pictures and videos, still to see how long I can keep records on board before it starts to overwrite old data, this will depend on memory card and frequency of triggers.IR for day / night switches quickly when required should external lights come on, car headlights etc.Tried on wifi and wired, both operate well, obviously wired is better but this device seems to work as well on either.iOS app is easy to use but less functionality (no cruise of presets) than IP link via the software provided for a PC.Cruise of presets has a lot of choices but could be of more use if allowing the camera to cruise between presets and only motion trigger when in a preset position and not when moving from 1 preset to another. It could then be left to continually scan an area.Also when a camera reset or power loss occurs, it would be good to reset the camera to a user preset position and not a centre position which is usually straight down. Also zoom out on reset. This would allow the camera to settle/start in a useful position of choice rather than a null position.I had to contact the team at Sumpple a few times just to get going and had a fast and positive response from them on all my queries, thanks guys it make a big difference having good customer service.All the above said, I love the device and will be buying more after testing longer as it is lower cost and better functionality than the fixed camera system I have by another manufacturer.

The camera is working but the software on the camera is absolutely rubbish. It supports only IE browser and you have to disable all the security features in order to access the page! You can see the live camera from Chrome but you cannot see the recorded video. The general system is sluggish and WiFi signal drops frequently. Admin page keeps on logging out and ask for continuous authentication. Layout is old fashioned and not responsive. This is not acceptable for a camera of this price range. I bought the 64GB onboard SD card and I am not even able to access the files remotely.

I purchased 2 cameras and I am very pleased with them. They look very professional when mounted, and are very easy to set up using wifi. I struggled with connecting power to the cameras due to the location, so don't forget to purchase an extension cable if needed. The software is easy to use, i'm currently using both the Android and apple app. Setting the motion detection takes a few attempts, especially if the camera points towards trees that move in the wind, so a bit of trial and error is required to get the settings that suit the location. The service is great, and I have always had quick responses whenever I have asked questions via email. When originally delivered the cameras had an issue which the card reader, and the response from sumpple was great, they investigated the issue, identified a manufacturing fault, and sent 2 new cameras that arrived within a few days of reporting the issue, I couldn't rate the service and support high enough. I would highly recommend sumpple and these cameras.

Considering this is a clone of the Foscam FI9828P PTZ 960p outdoor WiFi camera, you can expect a similar experience with this device.The unit is very sleek and looks smart once installed; the night-vision capabilities are satisfactory, with some good configuration options using either the mobile app, or by logging into the web interface by visiting the device IP address (default port 80, so it's easy to access)As others have suggested, the WiFi connection is intermittent at best; use of Ethernet cable for networking is advised to ensure a more stable connection with better frame rates.Instead of drilling a massive hole in the wall to feed the cables through, best to find a waterproof junction box, where the unused cables can remain dry, while trailing an extension power cable. The main redeeming attributes are the configuration options, appealing design and high resolution of capture. The PTZ (Pan, Tilt, Zoom) is very responsive when the connection is stable and easy to use, especially in the mobile app!As for recording events, the installed SD card is kind of pointless unless you fancy climbing a ladder to retrieve it. I've not found any method of accessing the SD card contents remotely; therefore I recommend spending some extra cash on a mini PC or RPi where a recording suite can be set up.
