Firstly disappointed that did not receive the 2020 production date as listed. Will see how this 2019 production performs. All pieces listed and easy to install. Slight issue with adhesive stickers as got stick down slightly skewed so not as flat as I’d like bit still seemed to fit. Instructions were clear once you were familiar with the layout (several languages on each page). Battery charged from 20% to 100% in a few hours. Will update the review if there are any adverse experiences with battery life, charging, or swelling.

A great purchase to revive an old iPhone 5 that didn't hold it's charge for very long, and it's saved a lot of money by not having to spend on a newer model!Obviously, it's still early days and the revelations by Apple about slowing older models down so as we part with our hard earned money, may have a bearing on, even this new batteries life, but so far, all is good - it lasts for over a day without me charging (again, that is dependent on how you use your phone).Everything is there in the pack that you need and as long as you don't pull the screen right back to break small wires that will scrap your phone instantly, you should be fine. I looked at a video on youtube, which helped immensely (although instructions are included).So yes, if you want to eek out a few more months/years from your iPhone5, this is a great purchase.

I bought a replacement Gadfull battery for my old iPhone 5, the kit came with tools and instruction to remove and replace the battery.The tools were excellent and did the job easily.The instruction were confusing.What I did was to watch YouTube instruction removing and replacing the battery and it gave me confidence to tackle this job.Removing the screen is a tricky job but can be done with patience and do not apply force use the tool to gentle lifting the screen out of the case.Removing the battery easy enough but be careful as the screws are so tiny if you have poor vision use a watchmaker magnifier glasses as you will need both hand to remove and replace.The old battery attached has been pasted so to remove it need to be gentle using the plectrum.Once the new battery was inserted and the screen was replaced the phone has now a new life work better than before the battery life is better great job I am so pleased with it.

This is the 1st time I changed a phone battery myself so I was worried that I will not know how to do it but the guide was helpful, plus some help from the internet and now my iPhone is working fine and the battery is working fine as well. I'm satisfied with the battery and I'm happy about the extended warranty.

Battery is good however the pentalope screwdriver supplied with the kit was useless. It had a nib of metal on the end of it making it impossible to insert it into the screw head to remove the screw. Luckily I had access to a decent one.

Only ten days after the installation, my case popped out, the screen was raised, I realised the new battery was swelling. I immediately fitted the old one but the screen doesn't fit well anymore, very upset.Quick refundEDIT: As expected, it didn't take long before the screen stopped working and now needs replacement, too damaged by the battery.Here is the support reply "We will be able to pay you for the cost of repairs when you send us a report from the official service centre that the battery has damaged your screen. Please send it to us, it must be on an official form with the details of the organisation."I already imagine what Apple support would say if they see I fitted a third party battery by myself, obviously the cost of the display replacement is for me nowAVOID

So far I am pleased with the product. It has restored the iPhone 5 to its former self. My only reservations concern the multi-lingual instructions, which are somewhat unclear. I also partially damaged my phone as a result; one has to be so careful.

Battery for Iphone5; easy to install following the instructions and using tools provided for the job. Steady hands required. So far it works well, no issues.
