Tiered Jewelry Box Hand Rubbed Brownish Black

I felt this unique contemporary wooden jewelry box was more appropriate for a man by the style. It is a vintage Mid Century piece and since the finish had a small spot that was worn, I decided to give it a new finish. Hand painted in black and hand rubbed with a brown wax gives it a brownish black coloring that isn't solid so has more depth and interest. The three oval sections swing out and are lined in black velour. Quite different with very clean lines and has never been used.
