Great quality! Sweet even
I've been drinking green teas for many years, this Vietnamese brand is not disappointing. In fact it has a sweet taste!, not bitter like most although a little bitterness is usually expected. Also I've noticed that with this green tea you have to bring the water to a good boil before pouring over teabag to really bring the flavor out, otherwise will be a light infusion, but this teabag can definitely be used again either way. In fact the second brew had equal strength! This is my new favorite brand next to Numi, and I appreciate that they include samples of their other teas!, although Numi seems to have better Jasmine infused green tea. They're black tea with ginger is nice too. And after reading reviews of their loose leaf I'm excited to try that next:)

Excellent Old Growth Tea As Good As Some Chinese Qiaomu Pu-erh
This tea is an excellent value for such high quality old growth tea. If you're a Pu-erh drinker, I think you'll find as good as teas from Yunnan. It's not like Mengku or YongDe but the terroir of this area is really very good. Considering the price, this is the only Amazon available tea I like to buy anymore. I'm very happy to see the store has restocked and now carries 16oz in some and can't wait to try the Oolong. I don't care to use tea bags so the loose leaf is nice. Brewing tea is an art and gongfu brings out the flavors well. It also is priced great for iced tea, something I won't do with my aging collection of pu-erhs so it's good to have an old growth, organic, offering for that as well. Many don't know that Vietnam has long been a producer of fine teas and this is a good way to try some. The black tea is fine too. Thanks to VIXI for offering some of the best Vietnamese teas! Brew it mindfully and I think you'll like it.

Bags are a little weak
The flavor of the tea is good. The price is reasonable. Unfortunately, the bags do not have strings and when I removed them from the tea, they tore and some solids spilled into my tea. This has happened on multiple occasions, so I have to be very careful not to squeeze the bag when removing it.

Love This Green Tea
It's surprising to discover that Vietnam also has a tea with a unique flavor profile. This tea has a rather strong taste, so if you don't enjoy a very bitter flavor, it's recommended to use more water or reduce the steeping time. Additionally, according to the instructions, you can steep the tea multiple times after the first infusion. I've personally tried brewing it up to the fourth infusion following the seller's instructions. With each subsequent steep, the taste of the tea becomes milder, but still quite pleasant. It's particularly suitable for those who prefer a lighter taste.

It Depends may be!
I drink green tea since last 4 years and at least thrice a day. I usually prefer the bitter test. I already have had a lot of brands, but unfortunately this brand did not suit me. There's a strange feeling in the mouth after finish drinking. But the quantity is soo good and just a small amount is quite enough. Those who prefer light green tea, can use this easily for so many days!!

Costs a litte more, but WELL WORTH IT... read my Review for the details.
First, if you look at and read their entire Product Description, you will see these Tea Leaves come from "OLD Tea TREES" (yes, I say "TREE's", because that's what they've become, after having NEVER EVER been Pruned or Trimmed, some of them are over 50-feet tall... wow!!!) (and, they are VERY OLD... in the Hundreds of Years Old, with VERY DEEP TAP ROOTS (I understand the Tap Root is as Deep as the Tree is Tall, so these Tap Roots reach VERY DEEP into the Soil, where all the FRESH CLEAN PURE Water, and the Minerals are, for the Tree to SOAK UP all these Very Deep SOIL NUTRIENTS, that FARM RAISED Tea Plants just cannot do, because it just is NOT THERE on a Cultivated Tea Plant Farm.) Anyway, if you're still reading this, MY REVIEW is this has a Very Unique VERY STRONG Green Tea Taste and Flavor, unlike most others. These Tea Trees grow in Northern Vietnam, as part of the ORIGINAL TEA TREES that populated the area Long Before Most Humans arrived. Some of them may be Thousands of Years Old... who knows... there is no Accuate Way to determine the Tea Tree's actual age. The Tea Leaves are the FULL LEAF... so that is why you need to give it plenty of Brewing Time, to soak up water and FULLY UNFURL the Tea Leaf, and then the Tea Flavor can start to come out, into the Infusion Water. I let it cool down, then put it into my Refridgerator and leave it there for at least a WEEK, before Tasting it... and THEN you can start to Taste the DEEP FLAVORS that have come out of those OLD TREE Tea Leaves. There is nothing else like it. You have to actually experience it to see what I mean. The HARVESTER's have to CLIMB UP into these Very Tall Trees, so it takes a lot longer to Harvest the Tea Leaves. It is Very Dangerous and Slow Work. Their COST OF PRODUCTION is Higher, so it has to be Reflected in the Price. BUT, the Tea is just AMAZINGLY FLAVORFUL, well beyond any Farm-Raised Tea Plants. I rate this 5-STARS, Very Highly RECOMMEND IT, and say to you... "GO FOR IT... !!!"UPDATE: May 16, 2024 -- I've had a Ball 64-ounce Glass Jar full of this Vietnam Loose Leaf Green Tea sitting in the back of my refrigerator for almost 10 months now, and I just tasted it... it is an Amazingly Deep Flavorful Taste like nothing I have ever experienced before. It is NOT bitter at all, and it's still the Medium Green Color it was when I first Brewed it. I put it back into my refrigerator, and will try it again later on, say another 6 more months, and see what it tastes like then. The soup is still CLEAR, and the Leaves are clearly individually picked and mostly whole (I'd say at least 95%). The leaves are longer and wider than the usual Small Leaf Farm Raised Variety, but very much smaller than the Large Leaf variety, so I'm not quite sure what it is. Again, these Tea Leaves are from Very OLD TREES, so no telling what their DNA is, and I'm sure they'll still be producing Great Tea Leaves long after I'm no longer on this Earth. I think I read somewhere the Oldest Estimated Tea Tree is in Mainland China, and they think it's 3,500+ years old, or so, and still going strong... that's amazing!!! Someday, Mankind will finally discover what is the Secret to such Long Life. I think Galapagos Turtles live to over 350+ years old, so if they can do it, I think someday. we will be able to do that too. If we ever hope to do Inter-Planetary Space Travel, we will have to come up with a way to last for many many years, and still be able to wake up and function. Wheat seeds found in the Egyptian Pyramids were still alive, and sprouted, after being kept in there for thousands of years. There are so many more things we just don't know about, yet, just waiting for us to discover them. Meanwhile, I'm going to brew up another batch of this Amazing Vietnam Loose Leaf Green Tea, and enjoy them later on, after it cools down. Oh, btw, I still rate this Vietnamese Green Loose Leaf OLD TREES Tea, 5-STARS, and, IMHO, is a Great Green Tea that you should try, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it. :o)
