This little beast is a must for weekend DIYers or contractors. Very east to us, powerful and reliable. The 5 speed is very handy with any situation. It is very light weight. LED lights were very bright, and it is good for any time of use. Battery life is good for whole day project and I haven't use the 2nd battery in a day.Overall 5 stars!

Very light weight with small battery. Hammer works great to break free old deck screws

This replaced an old drill I had for 15 years. The torque, features, light, speed, adjustability of this thing rocks. I love the settings for the drill and how easy they are to access, It is easy to know the status of the battery, It is comfortable in hand, the light is so functional. The 3 leds are so good at illuminating what you are working on. My eyes are old and it sure helps me. I am a Metabo fan boy now. The case is even fantastic. I also bought their impact bit kit. The bit case holds bits insanely tight, but the bits themselves are wonderful. I just bought some cheap bit strips and put them in the top of my case. I like that better anyway. Will be looking to invest in more Metabo power tools.

After some preliminary use it looks like a powerful impact driver that is very handy to use, light and having useful features like the variable power and pilot lamp settings.

This impact fits the hand well and drives in fasteners fast. The small batteries it came with stopped working after being in the cold, but I replaced them with the 5.0multi volt and it’s a nice fit. I’ve dropped it off roofs a few times and hasn’t skipped a beat. I wish it had an auto lock chuck

So far so good. We will see how it lasts in this exciting world of electronic junk

The toolbox has a lid with space for things like bits and drills, but I couldn't fit the 2.5 ah battery in there. One thing to note is the charger this comes with is not the rapid charger with the usb port and backwards charging capability (charge a device via usb cable while the charger is plugged into the wall or a battery pack is on the charger). Instead this comes with a Quick charger with no usb port. It charges the 18v 2.5ah battery in about 30 min with 1 bar, 36v 4ah with 2 bars in about 45 min or less. The impact is built well, stands up to abuse, has different modes to protect what you're working on of its delicate, or gives your full beans for driving lags or whatever you're up against. Ergonomics are outstanding. Standard Metabo hpt Lifetime warrenty and ip rating. For around 135 this is hard to beat.

I am transitioning all my cordless tools to Metabo. They are that fool and well built.
