Dynamique 14G Internally Threaded Synthetic Opal Balls 316L Stainless Steel Nipple Bar

To begin with, this jewelry is absolutely stunning. I LOVE opal anything and the pictures on Amazon did this no justice. The opalescent colors and reflectivity are soooo pretty and shiny, I was beyond surprised when I first unpacked the jewelry. And putting the jewelry in was relatively easy - the best way to do it (for nipple piercings in my case) was to guide the bar straight through the path the old bar was in, so the hole was open the entire way through. (Like connecting the old bar to the new bar and slowly moving the new bar in to replace the old one if that helps some people).And I’ve been comfortably wearing these for the past three days until tonight where I experienced the worst pain in my life. Don’t get me wrong, I’m truly glad I got these as I’ve been striving to get internally threaded jewelry for a while now. But this jewelry has never gone under any type of wear or tear or stress test before. It’s never been put to the test against clumsy people who have no idea how to control their limbs at times nor people who may get drunk and forget that they have jewelry just below the neck. And for this, I have given it four stars.This jewelry looks and feels beautiful. But it is something that is not hearty or able to withstand erratic, impulsive, or even drunken movements of someone just trying to grab a drink yet ultimately snagging something they wished to never snag before. And when that cute little opal ball gets snagged, oh dear lord it’s like you see God and his first cousin twice removed for the first time in your life.The second something is snagged the ball snaps off completely and the whole premise of ‘internally threaded’ is moot as the ball rips off and the threading is left inside the bar. And instead you are left with both bloody nipple and a broken $30 barbell you once loved to wear.One nipple may sleep happy tonight, but the other is left questioning why God decided to punish it so. What path must it have walked down upon to receive this type of punishment that no mere mortal should ever face before? What kind of God would allow someone to have their jewelry be so fragile as to snap off in less than the five seconds it takes to sit up and try to reach forward for a cup of water?(But no, I’m still keeping this and finding both some Neosporin and some superglue to glue back the ball and pray to a new God because I spent good money on this and I ain’t giving up yet 😤)

Great little pieces of jewelry! Fits snug with my piercing, but with No irritation from the materials, no obvious parts "sticking out", no pain, and I love that it is internally threaded, which is awesome for my fresh piercings. It definitely took me by surprise how small the balls are, and how short the bar is, i guess you really gotta know what sizes you need for your anatomy. Im a big breasted girl, and if this was any smaller or shorter this would not have worked, so i recommend checking the size before ordering! the green is soooo vivid too! 100% recommend

I was concerned that the balls would unscrew as other reviewers mentioned. Now, I’ve had these for about 2 weeks and haven’t had an issue. This is my first time changing the piercing since getting it done and it’s not irritating. I’ve also showered and slept with not bra on and haven’t had an issue with the balls unscrewing. I am mindful of it and sometimes make sure they’re tight, but I never even noticed them being loose. Would absolutely buy again.Side Note: ofcourse check that the size is going to be appropriate for your tastes. This one is perfect for me, but people rating it less bc they don’t like 5mm balls well that’s just dumb. Take that into consideration when checking out the reviews.

*2nd UPDATE*I received these barbells last Monday and was immediately in love with them. They feel really high quality and they are absolutely gorgeous. On Thursday morning after 3 days of wear, the ball on one end of my left barbell fell off of its post, leaving the post threaded in the barbell and stuck in my piercing. I emailed the seller and let them know I would unfortunately have to return them. The seller was PHENOMENAL and immediately shipped out a replacement barbell for me, I am extremely impressed with their quick response and immediate drive to make things right.

If you're using it for a nipple it might be too short. I got the 5mm and it works but I don't have a big nipple? Not sure how to measure that but just keep that in mind. It was easy to get on and the threading is good. There is no blemishes or anything like that. The balls look as pictured.

Loooove these soo much!! I have attached a picture so you can see them the color is just amazing. No issues with the internal balls they do not unscrew easily. Def gonna order them in another color. Ordered the smaller balls and I love the size.

I bought this for my tongue piercing. I was specifically looking for a cute tongue ring with a 14mm barbell length. The typical 16mm barbell lengths used for tongue rings are a little too long for me. So when I came across this one I was excited because the description said 14mm barbell length. I triple checked, picked different colors and ball sizes, and they all said 14mm length. Well, it arrived today and as soon as I saw it I could tell it was longer than that, it’s actually a 19mm barbell length!!!I’m just disappointed because I don’t have any other internally threaded barbells, so I can’t use these balls on anything else unless I go buy one (which defeats the point of spending $25 on this).I’m giving my review 3 stars because the color on the balls are gorgeous, quality seems great, I just mainly bought this one for the size and that’s where failed miserably.

I’m giving three stars because I’m a bit disappointed in the fact that the balls are not interchangeable, only one ball unscrews and it screws into the bar instead of on top of the bar so I can not switch them over to an acrylic bar like I was hoping to (I’m really hoping for the price I payed there are no issues). On the plus side they are a really pretty bright pink Opals (Opal being my birth stone) I love the pink and collect as much as I can of it, I’m also impressed with the alcohol wipe that is provided for cleaning before wearing.A little advice for the seller, contact your supplier and suggest they either make these to fit all bars or create a set of all acrylic.
