Durable, SUPER easy to clean, I thought the tea leaves would get caught up in the mesh lining on the inside but it doesn't, mesh is very compact nothing gets through, the sound of the lid getting placed on is wildly satisfying, the lid can get hot but the hollow handle keeps heat away so you're only really feeling the lid for the duration you pour. Been making Hojicha tea very very frequently and I love this pot.

This kyushu is perfect for someone who wants to drink real Tea. The wrap around screen prevents clogging and is very easy to clean. I have an antique kyushu from my grandmother and while it's the same size the clay filter sometimes would get clogged and if you weren't paying attention you could get burned. Not with this one. It's also so elegant!

Years ago I bought the same one from a Japanese dollar store...This thing no way worth $60. Shop smart.
