This set of 5 bamboo inserts is made from 2 layers of bamboo cotton cloth and 3 further layers of microfiber terry towel in the middle. They are up to 5 times more absorbent than normal terry towelling. They are approximately 35cm x 14.5cm and easy to clean, wash and reuse. They are machine washable and dryable (we recommend air drying to prolong the lifespan of the insert). The are ideal as an insert top up for your One size pocket cloth nappies.

Only 3 absorbent layers
Although the description on the website is accurate, it’s ambiguous. Description implies that there are 5 layers whereas in fact there are only 3 absorbent microfiber layers. The 2 bamboo cotton layers description refers to wouldn’t really provide any absorbency as it is only a very thin cloth, almost transparent. More like a thin cover for microfiber sewn inside. Not value for money and will be sent back.

Do absorb well.
Was quite skeptical of these. But actually they're quite good for my little one. Being a heavy wetter I needed something with good absorption. For us these babies are great, I use them in pocket nappies and in my 2 part ones at night time!Honestly I would recommend. This brand in general is good for us actually.Just make sure you wash at least 3/4 times prior to use! As with all nappies, you will be fine.

Poorly made
I purchased the charcoal fleece versions first and thought they were great. I put these through a wash before using them and unfortunately 2 out of 5 started falling apart after one wash and no use - the stitching came loose in several places. I've repaired them instead of sending back (as I really needed to use them!) but it's annoying nonetheless. We'll see how they stand up to more washes and use!*Edit: I've now used all 5 quite a few times and they are absorbent. No more loose stitching - They do take AGES to dry though!
