Doesn't sync well with Samsung TV, Q-symphony and WiFi connection doesn't work well, "skips beat" regularly. Sound Quality good, and the look and feel is good, Bluetooth connection works fine.

Go for a JBL or something else.. this is pretty bad.. I bought it bcoz I bought the Samsung QLED tv with dolby and all, with a thought that since both will sync together nicely as they promoted... but pretty bad sound quality..

Loved the sound quality and ease of installation. Not to forget it's sleep design. Awesome overall.

This has been out for a few years now, but that just makes it better value. The feature set isn't missing much from the 2024 (D) variant, so at around £200 this was good value. I bought this for my mother-in-law's living room as a one stop solution to improving the TV sound. It does a good job of steering sound around the room without rear or presence speakers and the elegant little sub does a grand job of adding depth. The fact that it connects wirelessly to Samsung TVs is a boon for those trying to minimise cables.

Very happy. Great price, takes up minimal space and is aesthetically pleasing. I have much more expensive, better quality kit elsewhere in my house so I can compare. You can't defy physics, so whilst it doesn't sound as good as a full wires surround set up and larger subwoofer, if you have the right expectations, you will be pleasantly surprised. Only 4 stars as I can't seem to get Alexa voice assistant to work. Seems more of a software issue between Samsung Smart things and Alexa.

This is definitely a top quality five star product. All the setting up stuff was easy and the sound was stunning. The sound? Awesome on everything I have tried. Movies, tv, games, and music are all so good. Excellent 'thumpy' sounds and excellent 'surroundy' sounds from it. Everything is very clear. Have heard other peoples much cheaper soundbars and the s800 destroys their soundbars. The setup? Really easy. Setting it up as just tv to soundbar with woofer was as easy as turning it all on then connecting them all via the tv settings with a few clicks. You get the option to use soundbar/woofer only or soundbar/woofer plus tv speakers too which is even better sounding. You can connect soundbar direct to pc as well and this is simple to do. It is not mentioned in the manual but was as easy as clicking the bluetooth icon on the windows taskbar, you need to have started bluetooth so this icon shows of course, and then 'add a bluetooth device' from the taskbar icon so you see the "[AV] Samsung Soundbar S800B" connection option with no messing about and can click that to pair it up. Trying to pair the soundbar via windows sound settings takes a lot of messing about to get working so I just used the method above. Just realised that using 'bluetooth & devices' in windows settings will get it working too. I added two samsung rear speakers and connected it to the legion laptop and samsung q95b tv, both wirelessly, and sound stuff in this laptop, tv, soundbar, and rear speakers setup was all up and running within minutes. The q95b picture quality is stunning as well but that is another story... Adding the rear speakers was easy and setting their sound to max took seconds using the soundbar remote. Had read that rear speaker setup was tricky to do but when soundbar says left or right rear speaker and you press up on the volume unsurprisingly this turns up the volume on the left or right speaker. The one small criticism I have of this soundbar is that when you turn off the microphone on the soundbar there is a red light dot sort of inside the front speaker part of the soundbar to indicate the soundbar microphone is off. You will see this red dot light and will start to focus on. I dont use microphone but left it on just to get rid of the annoying red light dot.
