I think the SmallRig is such a great product for professional looking results. It not only looks great but the functionality of being able to attach equipment to the camera is a must for serious film makers/ social media creators.

What can you say about a Smallrig black mamba cage, they are the best! I now have them on all of my wedding work cameras, GH5's GH6 and S52II. They fit perfectly without any movement and give a feeling of protection to the camera too.

Very handy for an artist studio set up - particularly for mounting a camera from above. Great for rigging up a camera, I use the cold shoe mount for an SSD holder and I've purchased an additional cold shoe adapter to mount a wireless mic transmitter.

A well manufactured metal frame which fits the camera well, providing a high degree of protection, without weighing too much.The cage is easy to assemble, with the build quality appearing to be excellent.

This is a well made, lightweight rig that fits my camera perfectly.I have a Panasonic LUMIX S5M2X, so was delighted to spot this Black Mamba rig kit available to review. The rig comes in a box with foam cushioning around the parts.The rig kit includes a double-ended installation tool, which has an Allen key at one end and a broad flat-head screwdriver at the other. The Allen key is needed to remove a pair of locking stops that attach the rig to the camera sides around the strap holder loops, then reinstall these once the enclosure has been added; whilst the screwdriver locks the rig into the tripod mount on the base of the camera. The tool is magnetic and stores in a slot on the bottom of the rig.There’s no problem with installing this around some types of lenses (I have the camera kit that came with a Lumix 50mm lens), but you do need to remove the camera strap in order to be able to attach the rig, as this locks on to the strap holder loops. There are alternative strap holder loops built in to the rig itself. The Black Mamba rig is well designed: when it’s in place it doesn’t impede access to any of the buttons or ports on the camera.There are masses of holes for attachments, as well as two cold shoes; a sturdy, optional top-mounting hand grip; and a separate screw-on plate which attaches to the side of the camera and protects plugs connected to the HDMI and USB-C ports.The one niggle I have with this is that the Panasonic charging cable cannot fit through the plug protector (it has too wide a built-up piece of plastic next to the USB-C plug).

La consiglio a chiunque, non solo per aggiungere accessori alla vostra camera, a ma anche per proteggerla in caso di urti nelle parti strategiche. Inoltre dona un look nuovo e professionale, cosa da non sottovalutare!Personalmente ho agganciato una presa laterale (SMALLRIG Mini Maniglia Laterale) e una superiore (SMALLRIG ARRI-Style Manico Superiore) per migliorare il grip generale della camera durante l'utilizzo e il trasporto. Questi 3 accessori rendono la vostra S5 II / S5 IIX completa.

Das Cage hat alles was man für das Zubehör benötigt bei der Produktion und es ist auch besser als der Standardcage, denn du kommst besser an alle Knöpfe und bietet auch Zugriff auf das Akkufach. Lediglich das NATO-Rail auf der Oberseite vermisse ich etwas. Dafür hat der Cage eben den Coldshoe an der Seite, für mich hier ein perfekter Fit für die Kamera, denn hier lässt sich die SSD bereits gut mounten. Finde ich perfekt gelöst für meinen Usecase.
