Any Butane Cas Lighter refill cannister should do the job. Newport and Clipper are common brands. You don't need a special adaptor, the bare nozzle fits perfectly.

The lighter has a metallic finish, I would expect the gas tank to be plastic, like most other lighters. It a nice product, I think you would be pleased.
