Works great with our Calphalon Temp iQ espresso machine. Creates a little more splatting because of the naked portafilter, but this is mitigated by raising the cup up to the portafilter. Looks really nice and is easy to clean.

After trying two other similar portafilters that advertised to work with the Calphalon but both spit coffee everywhere, this one actually seems to work very well the first time I used it. Now it spits some coffee out of the sides. So hard to find a replacement portafilter for this machine

The media could not be loaded.  I was not sure whether I had a channeling problem with my old spouted one. Once I started using this, I came to realize, indeed I had a channeling problem.If you face this problem, first of all, get fresh coffee. Best is freshly roasted beans, freshly grinded. Old coffee tends to form clumps.Material is sturdy and the rose handle looks beautiful.

I bought this hoping that it would produce a nice bottomless pour for my tempIQ machine. It spits coffee everywhere and does not produce crema. I've tried at least 10 different times to achieve postive results, but it just doesn't work. I've tried multiple ground sizes, multiple espresso roasts, with/without a puckscreen, using/not using a wdt tool to distribute, and even another bottomless basket other than the one provided. All of this led to the same result, coffee spitting everywhere on the machine, and absolutely terrible shots. The look and feel of this product is great, but unfortunately the functionality isn't there.
