A well written, easy to read and concise book on Data Governance. It provide a solid overview of the main topics for data management professionals on how to govern your Data assets.

What's in it is fairly useful as a checklist but that's about it. No depth to the information so don't buy it if you are actually looking for something to teach you about data governance.It's 57 pages that could really be condensed down into about 30 just by changing the formatting to a normal size text and normal size diagrams.Certainly not worth the cost but it would be a handy little checklist if it cost about a tenner

Great insight from Sunil on the steps to towards a successful data governance implementation. A lot.of food for thought on how to refresh our own dg based on this.

In a world where the concept of the CDO is in evolution, books like these give perspective. I would recommend other of Sunil's books, especially, Selling Information Governance to the Business: Best Practices by Industry and Job Function.

loved this book...very quick read, and gave me just enough insight to the topics and issues associated with Data Governance, so i can then deep dive in other references. This was a great place to start......highly recommended....

For the price this is a good value providing a solid overview. Consider more examples, sample templates and suggested reading in future editions.
