Very lemony and tasty!
This protein bars are really tasty, the lemon flavour and smell is strong but I do really like lemon so it’s all good for me!They are 300+ calories a bar, so a bit much for a snack if you don’t want to spoil your appetite for your next meal, but if you’re using them as a meal replacement bar they’re ideal! If I’m just having one as a snack I’ll split it with my husband, they are really filling so you don’t need much to keep you going! The ingredients are very good, they feel like a nutritious snack to eat, and I really like them. I also like that they don’t get squashed in your bag as they are already a very solid bar.Recommended!

Great tasting bars and Gluton free
These are great tasting bars (and I really like Cashew nuts) and my preference was for the Lemon rather than the Orange. However, my wife preferred the Orange more than the Lemon. They are also Gluton free if this is something you need. However, while they taste great the nature of the product is that it's appearance isn't appealing to everyone but it didn't matter to me.

Better flavour and texture than many plant protein bars...
Many protein bars have what I'd term a 'claggy' texture that sticks to the roof of your mouth. These Vivo life slow release energy Plant Protein Bars have a better mouth feel. Certified Vegan by The Vegan Society according to the outside of the box - though this is not mentioned in the listing - and gluten-free, the texture is lighter and not so dense. They include crunchy bits that give them a little added texture. The flavour here of both the Cacao Orange and the Lemon & Cashew varieties - there's 6 of each in the box - is very good and they have the edge in taste terms over other protein bars I've tried. A decent size, they include natural flavours and no added sugar or sweeteners. The Cacao Orange bar contains 308kcals and the Lemon & Cashew 304kcals. They are relatively carb heavy at 32g per 100g with just 4.2g of fibre per 100g to offset against it if you're following a low carb/high fat diet. The pack I received featured Best Before dates of 30/11/2023 for the Cacao Orange and 26/11/2023 for the Lemon & Cashew bars.

Not my cup of tea
Nicely packaged and they have a good variety of flavors. However, the taste is a bit peculiar, and the texture isn't to my liking. While they deliver on being high protein and nutrient-dense, personal preference plays a significant role, and unfortunately, I find the taste and texture not very enjoyable. Also, quite expensive.

Taste great but a bit on the expensive side
This is a box of twelve protein bars. Each bar is 65g and contains 16g of protein. The bars come in two flavours - cacao and orange and lemon and cashew.✅ no sweeteners or sugar✅ no artificial ingredients✅ great for an energy boost between meals or before a gym workout✅ gluten free✅ vegan

Almost tasteless and lacking texture
I can vaguely taste orange and lemon in these bars, but they are otherwise very heavy and almost textureless without much in the taste department either to recommend them. There is a little bit of crunch but really not enough and I didn’t enjoy eating either flavour. They need more texture and more flavour for me; as they are, I find them really unpalatable.

Not very nice protein bars
I ordered the Vivo life Plant Protein Bars with high hopes – I mean, the packaging sounded promising. High protein? Nutrient-dense? Slow-release energy? All of that in a mix of Cacao Orange and Lemon & Cashew flavours? Sign me up! But then, I bit into one. 😬Honestly, I struggled with the flavours. The sharpness was a bit too intense for me and it seemed to clash with the protein bar texture. We're all familiar with that slightly sticky, chewy consistency that protein bars tend to have, right? And unfortunately, the Vivo bars didn’t break that mould. The Lemon & Cashew tasted like an odd mash-up, and the Cacao Orange left an aftertaste I wasn't a fan of. To make matters slightly worse, they feel pretty heavy on the calorie side – with over 300 calories in each bar. As a snack, it felt more like a meal! Now, I have to give credit where it's due: they're packed with natural ingredients. The nut and seed blend sounds premium with the hemp hearts, cashew, almonds, and macadamia nuts. Plus, there's no added sugar, artificial sweeteners, flavourings, or binders. And they're gluten-free and vegan. But you know, if the taste doesn't hit right, the rest doesn't matter as much. 🤷Would I order them again? Probably not, especially at £32.99 for 12 bars. But hey, taste is subjective, right? Maybe there's a niche crowd out there who'd enjoy these unique flavour combinations. But for me, it’s a pass.Pros:✅ Natural ingredients✅ Convenient on-the-go snack✅ No artificial stuffCons:❌ Flavours too sharp❌ Claggy texture❌ High in calories for a snack❌ Pricey for what you get

Really tasty protein bars!
I've just had the orange and cacao and my wife chose the lemon and cashew.Definitely a thumbs up from both of us!Wholesome ingredients - notably no added sugar or sweeteners, high protein and totally vegan are plus points too.The texture is very pleasing, with just the right amount of crunchiness.Bit pricey I know, but undeniably a great product!
