I NEVER write product reviews. I'm making an exception for this exceptional product. I've wanted to quilt for years, I've taken classes and bought the fabric. The problem was that I couldn't cut it accurately. I couldn't get the fabric lined up correctly and when I did, the ruler would slip. I finally gave it up completely and decided I just wasn't coordinated enough for this art. However, after learning I was to be blessed with twin boy grandbabies, I decided I was going to quilt blankets for them. I set out to find the best equipment I could to make this a success. I got this ruler a couple of weeks ago and set out to cut my fabric. It was so easy, so precise, I wondered where this tool had been all these years. Brilliant product and a big thank you to the quilters who designed this.

Found out I'm not very accurate in cutting squares until I found this ruler. The amount of time I save cutting is almost unbelievable. Extremely accurate and have not waisted any fabric. Would highly recommend this produce it's a game changer!!

Pros for the ruler:Sturdy and accurate. Has eighth inch markings, which is the main reason I bought it.It was packed very well for shipping.Negatives:I would like more space around the perimeter of the ruler. The slots are too close to the edge.Static cling. The fabric pieces tend to be lifted with the ruler. This is a problem if you want to reposition it for further cutting, which I needed to do. I don’t have this problem with other rulers, so it may be due to the type of plastic used.

Love this slotted rule. Makes cutting so much easier and so fast. Great product and great price.

This saved me. I cannot cut a straight line and this made it easy.

This has been very handy for trimming up quilt squares. The teardrop openings at the base make it easy to slip the rotary cutter into the slot. So far, proving to be safer than the thin metal straight edge I was using (and which led to a bone deep cut). It feels very floppy, but nonetheless appears to be pretty sturdy.

I expected this to be much better quality than it was for the price. It was flimsy and came with minimal instructions that I did not understand how to use it. I never tried it I just packed it up and sent it back and ordered the creative grid that’s more money but very sturdy and easy to use with plenty of videos on how to do different cuts. This may work fine for someone with experience in quilting, I’m new so I need videos
