I recently purchased for the 2nd time. (The 1st cover is still fine but I was careless when washing and it doesn't look great - darker & lint-y.) Eco cover feels weird out of the package but gets very soft, like a medium weight flannel fabric when washed. Not hot ( "sweaty") to sleep on.Sorry, I don't know how it fits a crib mattress.I use it to cover a Medslant folding wedge pillow when I travel, so that I don't pick up bed bugs at hotels and bring them home. It is a comfortably generous fit, a little long - but this makes it easy to put on and take off. The cover can be pulled smooth over the unfolded pillow and the extra length tucked under one end and it can be loosened for easy folding for travel.)The photos do not show construction well. There is an extra small (1.5-2"?) fabric panel, on the inside, behind the zipper-pull end when closed (just at the end...or beginning) as an extra barrier to bedbugs. Bedbugs may still be able to get in or out at this location, but it is an extra barrier and not a visible gap as many zippers have at the "top". (I hope that description is clear.)

I have 9 of these in pillow, baby crib, twin, double, king, and queen sizes. They hold up great. We had a bed bug nest in our home years ago. Pain in the butt to deal with getting rid of bed bugs. But these make life easier. Best of all these are Not waterproof. No poofy sheets, no clamminess, no crinkly plastic sound.

Make sure to measure your mattress height before buying - there is a 9" and a 12" tall version of this cover.I shopped around for bed bug proof mattress covers, and decided to buy this cheaper one despite the mixed reviews. I'm satisfied with it. It wasn't difficult to put on, although if it's a tight fit for your mattress you should take a few minutes and not get impatient. The zipper is nothing special, but it's about as secure as you could reasonably expect - I put a bit of tape over the end just to be sure. The material is exactly what I expected after reading the description of "cotton-like." It's stiffer than cotton, but softer than paper. I needed to buy a mattress cover due to allergies and this fit what I was looking for. It’s not a hard plastic sheet. It’s nice and soft. I suggest you have help when putting it on a king sized mattress though! Lol. Plenty of room for the mattress cover to move because it is not snug to the mattress.

Bought this one to replace another product (cannot remember company name) because the zipper ripped the first time I tried to unzip. Spent more money on last one and decided to buy less expensive in case it just ripped again. This one is more durable and has softer feel to it than previous one. It doesnt make crinkly sound everytime you move. Would definitely recommend this product.

I bought a crib that came with a foam mattress and I didn't feel it was protected enough with just the mattress pad and if I want to improve the longevity of the mattress, I felt it was necessary to invest in a cover. It was odd that it didn't come in a "nice" zip up package. It arrived in a ziplock like bag. The zipper on the product was not zipped correctly on the long portion of the mattress area and I had to do some zipping back and forth to get it to line up correctly. It didn't look to be used or damaged in any way so we kept it and put it on the mattress. It is a bit large for our foam mattress but I suppose if you had a thicker mattress it would be okay. It seems to be working just fine for us so far.

I love this mattress protector. The bottom and sides are plastic feeling while the top is more smooth like a bed sheet. My daughter’s allergies have definitely improved. I ended up going back to buy a pillow case as well. The mattress cover appears to be waterproof. My toddler daughter had an accident while sleeping and it pooled together on top of the cover. I will say that after having to remove the mattress cover in the middle of the night, I went out and bought a reusable pad in the event of any future accidents. The cover is not like a fitted sheet. Since it zips around and covers the mattress completely, you need to remove the mattress off the bed to remove and put the cover back on. This cover encases the whole mattress. Having to do it while wet and in the middle of the night was a pain. So if you plan to use for a child who is going through potty training, a mattress pad for the top would be great to save yourself some hassle.

I recently purchased the mattress protector. Before opening the bag in the instructions it advices to make sure we had the correct size and mentioned all the available sizes. The smallest available was not in stock in Amazon, but I contacted the seller and they agreed to replace the one I purchased for the size that worked better for us. Customer service replied to my questions quickly. I shipped it directly to their shipping building. and the replacement came immediately.I’m giving a five star because I’ve used this product on another mattress in the house, and I’m assuming it continues to be the same quality.
