I'm glad I choose this one. It arrived quickly, is well packaged and good quality. The instructions are clear with no spelling mistakes or bad grammar (though they would be even better if the type font was a bit bigger! for us old'ens ;-). It was so simple to hook it up and start charging my battery. The battery and mains leads are long enough to charge the battery in the car (remembering to disconnect the +ve car lead first so that only the battery is connected to the charger). It only took a couple of hours to fully charge the battery, and the display shows you what stage it is at in the charge cycle and when its complete. With so many 12 volt car battery chargers available on Amazon it was difficult to know which one to choose particularly with many having some negative reviews amongst the positive ones. I choose this one because there were no negative ones amongst the 85 at the time and it was one of the lowest priced. I'm pleasantly supprised how good it is for the money. I 'd recommend it, hence the 5 stars !!

My Nissan Micra 2006 would not start and I had suspected it was due to the battery being flat. I connected this charger to the battery and after just 5 minutes of charging the car started again. The screen is great as it is bright, viewable and several angles and is still visible in bright sunlight. The charger is small so it won't take up much room in your car. The three pin plug cable is about 1m so you will likely need an extension cable to use this charger. The value of this charger is excellent and it has helped me get my car working again.

This is a great wee bit of kit. Charges battery no problem at all. For the price it is well worth it. Would recomend it highly. Overall 5 stars from me.

Great battery charger Charges car battery quickly, but also can be used for trickle charge

Fast next day delivery, very easy to use once I realised what type of charger unit this was, I initially ordered without reading the type the charger description, so dumb me thought if I charged the unit overnight then attached to my battery it would give it a boost, took me a few minutes to figure out this was NOT a portable boost charger, (ALWAYS READ THE DESCRIPTION!!) soon as I realised my mistake, I knew I didn't want to remove my battery to charge over night, so out came my extension cord, everything all plugged in with my battery still in my car, and within less than an hour my battery was showing almost fully charged, impressive, good price, does exactly what it says, when you've read the description.

I bought this charger based on the great reviews. I moved house and our stuff and my motorbike was in storage for seven months. As expected when we moved in my bike’s battery was as dead as a door nail! In fact I thought the battery might be damaged. This charger comes with a repair functionality so that was good. Anyway connected it up and three hours later my bike battery was charged and it wasn’t damaged. Bike started strongly first time. This little charger packs a punch, it’s versatile, used pulse charging technology and can repair a damaged battery. I’m made up with it! Only niggle - box it came in was a little small to squeeze it back in!! I’m very satisfied 😊.

Much more sophisticated than my old 'ring' bike battery charger, which I'd fitted external ammeter and volt meters to. The only function I've yet to test, from a biker's point of view, is an over winter trickle charge, tho mode 4, 'intelligent charging' claims to do that. Construction seems robust and the screen is bright and unambiguous. Leads are short but for £15, am happy to extend, particularly to fit an on-bike charging adaptor. Nice. Fingers crossed it'll be reliable.
