EGO AL2420PB Pre-Cut Premium Twist Line for String Trimmer, Green

This is a great trimmer for anyone over 5’6”. I thought because it was telescoping that it could be made shorter, but as it turns out, 5’4” is as short as it goes. I looked like a Three Stooges skit trying to trim up my yard. It is a great machine-tons of power. 10/10 as a trimmer. But heavy and way too long for short people.

The Lithium battery weight makes the leaf blower an arm strain without a shoulder strap. So , for the price, you should order it when you buy the EGO leaf blower. The down side is that it does not have a great way to hook it up on a leaf blower. they do not even tell you how to do it in the instructions that come with it. But, All in All, you really do need it unless you can figure out an alternative.

Added an extra 8” of wire to hook the blower at a lower height.

The strap was easy to put on my blower. Works great. Takes the weight of the blower off.

I bought the shoulder strap along with my EGO leaf blower to reduce the strain of carrying and handling the blower during use. Just switching the unit from hand to hand after a short period of use can be cumbersome and tiring. The strap shifts the load from your hand to the bigger muscles of your shoulders. A bit pricey but worth the purchase.

Where do I begin? No more small engine headaches, lugging around a heavy trimmer, problematic loading of trimmer line and I can do my entire yard (normal sized neighborhood lot) and still have more than half of my battery life left.

Well made product but to expensive.

Pro - I'm using this strap on my EGO leaf blower. With the battery, the blower is very heavy to carry around "unsupported" while clearing grass clippings from the driveway and road (usually takes about 10-15-min to do this). Use of this strap makes the job that much easier as it distributes the weight from the carrying arm to the strap over the shoulder.Con - The strap does not expand far enough for someone with a large stature/girth (I also purchased one for my neighbour who is a little heavier and of bigger build than I am).

Le connecteur entre l'outil EGO et le support est simple, en metal et vissé. Ce qui fait une connection solide. Ensuite vous pouvez retirer le support grace au mousqueton.Bon produit! Je recommande!

This strap is essential if you use the trimmer. It not super luxurious, but it's attractively priced and has a sturdy construction. The strap appears to be nylon, sop it won't break even with heavy use.The trimmer is pretty heavy and without the strap you're carrying all the weight on your arms. It took only minutes to install and adjust for my height. I'm not sure why it's not included with every trimmer, but it was a required add-on for me.

I got the trimmer strap as I was feeling some back strain from swinging the trimmer (think it's about 20lbs with the battery) for 45 minutes to an hour to cut a grass slope. The strap assembles quickly and is easy to sling over your should. I controls the level and radius of your cutting pattern. Would have been nice if it had some elasticity built into the strap to make it feel less restrictive. Bottom line is it caused less back/arm strain if you have a longer cut to do. It also keeps the trimmer on level better than without the strap.
