Arrived but it doesn't move. Why on earth have they made it this way. I've tried everything and it doesn't move. I'll be returning this asap.

Yup, It's just about OK.. It's hefty enough to be durable, but as the "axle" is only riveted, there is no adjustment for wear. from new it is very tight,and impossible to turn by hand, so there will be extra work here in freeing off, no doubt helped by a liberal dose of WD40, together with a couple of levers, as I wish to use this item as a TV turntable, which should to be able to turn easily. maybe in the end, I will drill out the offending rivet, and use a nut and bolt, with a locking nut making it easily adjustable, as wear takes place.

Middle rivet is far to tight, it will not rotate. I have hammered out the washer in the rivet and it works perfectly now. Can’t recommend anyone to purchase unless you are happy to tamper with it to make it swivel.

I write this whilst looking at the product in my garage on the bench doing nothing impossible to rotate and a waist of money

A la lecture des nombreux commentaires mentionnant le fait que le plateau serait bloqué car trop serré à la fabrication, il y a de toute évidence une méprise, d'une part du côté du vendeur un manque d'information sur ce supposé problème qui n'en est pas un, et d'autre part un manque de compréhension du produit lui-même de la part des clients insatisfaits. Pour tourner librement, ce plateau nécessite une charge suffisamment lourde pour ne pas rester bloqué. Il suffit de faire une expérience très simple pour s'en rendre compte : en montant sur le plateau posé au sol, on s'aperçoit que celui-ci tourne sans problème (attention à ne pas tomber en faisant ce test !) Il faut donc un poids minimum suffisamment important pour débloquer ce plateau, sans toutefois dépasser 100 kgs qui est la limite indiquée... Aucun problème à partir du moment où vous tenez compte de cette particularité. Pour y poser un petit téléviseur ou un petit vase, ça risque de ne pas fonctionner et c'est normal. Très bon produit donc en réalité, avec cependant quelques petites réserves concernant l'assemblage éventuel de supports en bois ou autres sur ce plateau. En effet cela peut s'avérer délicat notamment pour la fixation du second support car l'accès devient alors exigu, j'ai dû employer une ruse pour y arriver, car j'avais fixé des supports en bois assez larges. Attention à tenir compte de cette dernière étape de l'assemblage en utilisant des supports suffisamment étroits pour garder un accès aux boulons d'assemblage (obligatoirement à tête hexagonale pour pouvoir les serrer avec une clé plate car on ne pourra y accéder que par les côtés...) Au final, excellent produit qui semble résistant et fiable. Une meilleure pédagogie sur la destination et les particularités de ce plateau serait à souhaiter pour éviter des retours de produits pas forcément justifiés.
