Wood poorly sanded
The wood dowels and side pieces were very rough and full of fine splinters. Not at all satisfied.

Best way to hold cross stitch fabric
This is.my 3rd set of Homecrafters scroll frames. I believe I now have all the sizes. I notice some people say the fabric slips/loosens. I don't have that problem because I use removable picture mounting tape to hold the fabric in place. Unlike embroidery hoops, there is no distortion of the fabric. For traveling, I remove the end pieces and roll the fabric on the rods(it's anchored by the tape), wrap in tissue, secure with rubber band and tuck in suitcase or backpack. At my destination, I put the end pieces on and start stitching. For large projects, the fabric is rolled on the rods and rolled out as needed.

I immediately set to work with the frame...I have 4 projects going now...maybe I'll end up ordering more frames! They come fast and I really can use them!
