Good quality 5160
Produced impact toughness # similar to L6 steel. It is possible to make a 2.5" partial tang blade but would be better with 8-24" length stock.

Appears to be good quality so far
Steel appears to be as described. Each piece is marked as to the type of steel it is. Comes wrapped in an oil/wax paper. Haven't had a chance to heat treat them yet but they seem to be in an annealed condition.

WARNING SCAM!!
As some of the other reviews stated, this IS NOT 15N20! I forge welded this steel with a batch of 1084 I also purchased. When it obviously wasn't etching correctly I purchased all new ferric chloride. The result was the same. This company is sellIng one kind of steel and stamping it with different names. I've wasted a ton of time and propane making a billet of mono steel. Pretty pissed 😡

Good value
I got the 10 pack of 15N20 by Saluinoki to practice making knives. The steel arrived wrapped in a layer of rust prevention paper. It appears to be good quality. I would say it’s a good value for the money. I would buy again.

I ordered the 1095 steel. These are all stamped with 1095 and I have not seen any reason to doubt it
The set of 10 plates gives a good amount of steel to easily make 10 good EDC blades, or one big blade such as a zombie killer. The good thing about 1095 is that it has a carbon content that allows you to work it just as it is without heat treatment and still have a good but easily sharpened blade, but you can heat treat it, then temper it and have an almost indistructable blade. You do have to keep it clean and oiled either way. These plates come with the mill scale on them and they look like they were sheared to size and then stamped with 1095 on each plate. They do have a light coat of oil and are well wrapped in oil paper to protect them until you're ready to start shaping them. Nice blanks to get started with.
