Growing up in a family of educators, my sister and I enjoyed learning, simply. Although technology is exciting, Eduwear wants to expand education into an untapped category, clothing. The clothing encourages children to learn through play; using removable patches, games and lesson plans. We designed these clothes to promote a child’s well-being, self-esteem and motivation. What makes your product special? Eduwear is a line of educational clothing that incorporates games, removable patches, lesson plans, books, and worksheets. Also, your child can learn on the go! What has been the best part of your startup experience? The best part of this process was seeing my sister Nikki take some sketches I drew over 20 years ago and turn them into real products! It was challenging having a limited background in the world of business. However, it’s great having a sister willing to take risk and work through the obstacles that could have limited the path to our dreams.
