Seems like cheerios
I don't know what I was expecting when I ordered these. They were an impulse buy. They literally taste like cheerios. We tried them with schiracha sauce and cinamon sugar. Very over priced for what they are. We made them in the air fryer. Maybe they would have been better fried in oil.

Great at home churritos
Whatever you do - please do not follow the review that says to BOIL these. These are meant to be fried NOT boiled. I grew up in southern california buying big bags of chicharrons de harina sprinkled with hot sauce and a spritz of lime. I was excited to try these at home - but wont buy them again, because I found myself making a batch every day. These are too good and too quick and easy to make. They're super salty (which I love) and are especially good with cholula tequilla hot sauce sprinkled on top and a squirt of lime. To make these correctly - fry them in hot oil until they puff up and float. If they start getting dark or grey they are over done. Toss them on a paper towel to soak up the extra oil and they're ready to be seasoned with your favorite sauce - or you can eat them plain. They are very salty - I've noticed a lot of reviews that covered them in sugar and cinnamon (I think because they are donut shaped people think they are donuts?) I guess that could work - but try them with hot sauce and you'll love them.

Make your own churros bites, but hopefully you have an air fryer to minimize the mess
Deep frying or pan frying on my stovetop is NOT my favorite form of cooking purely because the cleanup is hassle, but you can't argue with the results. These Armantoli donut pellets fry up very well and very quickly letting you create a LOT of fried snack food very quickly and with a fairly minimal use of oil. Even faster if you have an air fryer, but I've yet to invest in one of those so I went the old fashioned route. To test out these donut pellets I decided I'd make two different batches with different toppings: one sweet and one salty/savory. The first batch, the sweet one, went the churros route with a topping of Ceylon cinnamon and basic granulated sugar (but any cinnamon would work). The result was delicious and addictive and is probably what we'll use the rest of the bag for, but more on that in a second. The second batch, was the salty savory flavor (in the yellow bowl in the pictures) of basil, bacon, white cheddar. And while taste-wise it was amazing, it was ultimately slightly too salty because both the bacon seasoning and white cheddar seasoning had their own salt mixed in, so this batch turned out a bit saltier than I'd have liked, even if the flavor combo was fantastic. And these were just the first two batches and we made a LOT of each, but there are sooooo many donut pellets in that bag and they puff up to be 4-5x the size they start as so you start out thinking you'll use a big bowl of them up, but by the time you've run even a cup or two of them through the frying process you have about 4-5 cups of finished product to consume and...oy. SO much crunchy fried goodness you have to work through. ***Overall Value*** So this bag of donut pellets might not look huge, but be warned: there are so many servings just a handful of raw donut pellets. It will take you a while to get through this bag unless you're making an especially high number of batches for a party or social gathering. And that's something this churro variety would be perfect for. Everyone loves cinnamon and sugar and you can make a lot of them very quickly, and cinnamon and sugar are not expensive toppings. For $8.50 for this 1 lb bag (at the time of review) it's hard to think of a more economical finger food snack.
