Works well, good prints
Good print quality and easy to work with. Unlike the PLA that I bought from this company, this is properly spooled and went smoothly through my extruder. The prints are well done and the filament seems to be very consistent throughout the spool.

You get what you pay for.
This is a hard review to write... on the one hand, this cost me $12 for a roll but on the other hand, there's issues. Overall though, it's considerably better than I could expect given the price.I've just finished off my first roll, and I have strong opinions. First off, the colour is great. Dark black with a nice gloss. Once properly tuned, it prints very well with no real bed or layer adhesion issues. It's PETG, but doesn't string too much once dialed in, and bridging is possible (though not great, it is still PETG). I had no issues with clogging nor blobbing issues beyond what I have with other PETG, and there were no tangles in the filament. It's also $12 for a roll. Now onto the things to be aware of... first off, the diameter is very inconsistent... ranging from 1.62 to 1.76 in the same roll. Those measurements are the average of 90° at the same place with a calibrated micrometer. This filament was oval at every place I measured it, and I measured it *a lot*. For small prints, you can get away with unrolling all you'll use, measuring it then average it. Be sure to measure at right angles at each point because it will be oval. For larger prints, it's best to set the diameter to 1.75 and expect some minor underextrusion.Next is the finish... when printed at 4mm³/s (regardless of hotend speed or layer height) the finish is a matte black. When printed at 3mm³/s and lower, it's nice and shiny. Since your hotend will accelerate and decelerate during the print, printing 4mm³/s or higher means some high gloss areas and some matte areas. You really need to keep the volumetric rate very low, even for PETG if you want to look at the print. This does not seem to impact layer adhesion or anything else, so for hidden functional parts, faster is fine.Because of the above issue, this isn't a good every-day PETG to leave on your printer, rather this is one to pull out when price matters and quality doesn't... prototypes, kinematics tuning, things with lots of supports that can take a long time to print etc. If you try to print everything with this you will get frustrated and stay that way.All of that said, I'm going to be keeping a couple rolls of this in my dry box at all times from now on, but only until something cheaper comes along. This is bargain basement filament only for use when price is the most important factor. When *anything* else matters, spend more and use something better.

My new go-to PETG.
First off, PETG is PETG and I didn't find that this was stringing or fussing any more than anything else I have printed. Granted, I don't use this material for smaller detailed pieces, I usually print larger scale stuff that has to be tough and this filament never let me down for those purposes.Awesome price and fantastic quality if you've got your machine dialed in, definite recommendation!

Great product, minimal stringing, amazing finish
The only thing I could complain about is that Stronghero3d doesn't offer the blue, teal, and purple found in this filament as stand alone color options. Liked it so much I immediately ordered another roll. The picture shows a custom keyblade design that assembles with no glue or fasteners. I think it shows how well this filament really performs.Use a gluestick and enjoy this great color changing filament. The finish is like a fishing boat paint, sparkly.

Great PETG bargain filament with good strength
I have been using Cura on my Creality Ender 3 and once I had the settings tuned for this filament, my prints have been looking great. I print slower than normal on a hairspray coated glass bed so I can have a really high quality finish on my parts. Let your print cool to room temperature and use a safety razor blade to get under the brim/part and let air flow in slowly, it will simply pop off the glass plate.Cura Settings:Start with Cura generic PETGLayer Height: 0.2Line Width: 0.5Wall Thickness: 1.0 (or 3.0 for really strong parts)Top/Bottom Thickness: 1.0 (or 3.0 for really strong parts)Optimize Wall Printing Order: yesPrint Thin Walls: yesZ Seam Alignment: randomInfill Density: 20% (50% for very strong parts)Infill Pattern: CubicPrinting Temperature: 240CBuild Plate Temperature: 95C (this is important, my print bed was a full 20C cooler on the my camera!)Flow: 100%Wall Flow: 108%Top/Bottom Flow: 76%Skirt/Brim Flow: 116% (you need a vacuum seal between the bed and part for excellent bed adhesion)Initial Layer Flow: 104%Print Speed: 30mm/sWall Speed: 8mm/sTop/Bottom Speed: 15mm/sTravel Speed: 150mm/sInitial Layer Speed: 4mm/s (this is important, print very very slow to get fine details to stick to glass)Skirt Brim Speed: 4mm/sEnable Retraction: yesRetract at layer change: yesRetraction Distance: 5mmZ Hop When Retracted: yesCooling Fan Speed: 50%Build Plate Adhesion Type: Brim (this is important, you need a vacuum / suction cup type seal to keep the parts on glass)Brim Width: 8mm
