Suction is not as good as I would have hoped.
I'm using this to secure a Korg nanoKONTROL Studio midi control surface to my desk. So far it's worked fairly well - but I am regularly having to re-engage the suction cup as it works its way loose after a day or two. The Korg is lighter than an iPad so I'm not sure how confident I would be that my iPad would be held in place.
