perfect replacement
nightmare to install but it does work well and is quieter than the original. Highly recommend.

Original replacement
I’ve replaced most of the usual internal components several times but the macerating motor started making noise after 6 years on my sailboat and needed replacement just like other reviewers have commented on.What I’ve found with the o-ring on the macerating motor is that it’s small in thickness but definitely isn’t oversized for the groove it lays in on the motor housing. I use a little Vaseline on the o/ring and carefully smooth it into the groove then very carefully match up the screw patterns and the internal tab and groove on the black tube and then slide them carefully together.I think that once the o-ring has been pinched out of the groove it’s gonna leak…. But just my own experience.New pump working as expected and so far, no leaks! Hooray!
