Looks great so far!
UPDATEOne year later and I can confirm it still looks as good as it did a year ago. It still looks clean and white and most importantly is stuck fast. There has been quite a lot of condensation during the winter, but it just wipes clean and remains stuck. Really pleased!!!I needed this primarily for my living room window and balcony door. Even though it was a new build when I moved in years ago, because there was a large gap between the frame and the sill the sealant looked awful. Now after many years it looked dirty and was coming apart (see photos). I am a walking DIY disaster about to happen so I just left it looking messy. This product seemed easy to use according to the reviews so I was tempted to give it a go. The width of the caulk strip made it ideal for this job. The photos are a bit dark and maybe don't do it justice, but even so I think you should be able to see a real difference between before and after it was finished. When you look at it when you are actually in the room it looks superb, much better than caulking done by a proper decorator. I did it during a heatwave so it was much hotter than the 25 degrees they recommend on the pack. Hopefully, this should help it adhere better. It has only been up 2 days, but so far so good. I also did my bedroom window. Looks great too. One word of warning though. If you ever decide to go back to ordinary caulking, this stuff will leave a hell of a mess when it is removed. It will pull the paint away underneath as well. Not a problem if you are replacing it with new caulk strip, but you will have to repaint areas where the caulk strip was if not. I know this, because I removed a small side piece after a few hours because I hadn't got it straight.

The most disappointing product I’ve ever bought but the seller was amazing
Update: I was contacted by the seller to put the situation right, which they did. They also promised to contact their product department to try and improve the product. It is, after, a great idea. I'll leave the original review here for information but be assured if this does not work for you you will be protected. It's not often one receives service like this.Well I think that this is probably the most disappointing product I’ve ever bought. It seems to be fine, easy to cut, fantastic idea etc. But after less than a week it starts to come away. See photos. It was warmed up, put on correctly onto dry and clean tiles and sheet and whatever you try and stick it to it simply peels off. I’m going to have to strip it all off and use silicon now. Not happy at all.

Sticks very well !
Has been in use for about three weeks now and still no sign of peeling off. Easy enough to use and sticks well to the shower tray which I used it for. Some have said it’s useless because it doesn’t stick, but I found that if the instruction are followed then it works perfectly well

Not sold on this one ...
This caulk strip is more pliable and easier to apply than some of the others, but I am afraid that I found it to be less satisfactory than most of the other caulk strips available out there. The adhesive is not as sticky and therefore inclined to come loose again within the next day or so.

Does the job
Nothing worse than a persistent leak in the bathroom no matter how much silicone sealer you apply and over time looks terrible. I bought this and admit I was a bit apprehensive s some of the reviews were bad. What I did was remove all the previous sealer (yuk and a pain in the neck) cleaned it with a degreasing cleaner and left for a couple of hours to dry out completely. I used a hot air gun to heat around the bath where the tiles meet and then applied the tape a bit at a time. As I put the tape in place ran the heat gun over the tape not too close just enough to warm it up then pushed the tape firmly against both surfaces.Corners are a bit harder and I would recommend you measure to the first corner and see how it will wrap before you remove the backing to stick to the surface. You might need to do what I did on the fly as I didn't check this first. Where the crease in the tape is cut a slit from the middle to the bottom and when you hit the corner you can overlap them still seals properly. Apply heat as before and keep pressing firmly into both surfaces.End result is a clean and professional looking seal and most importantly no more leaks.

Buy it and you could come unstuck ! 😕
This was bought to go around the worktops in a kitchen.I prepared the surfaces thoroughly iaw the instructions. The product was easy to apply. I used a hair dryer to warm the tape a little and the surfaces to which it was to be apllied, just to be on the safe side.It appeared to have stuck well along the three lengths I apllied it to.The house has been unoccupied for two weeks since I put the strip down, so there have been no great fluctuations in temperature, no steam etc. When I returned, 2 lengths of the strip had become warped/loose/unstuck, as per the pics. The other length I had put down was fine.I've ripped it all up - not an easy task, because the adhesive used acts like chewing gum !I've bought some decent plastic edging strip and I'm going to do the job properly.Think twice before buying this. It's not the time saving, labour saving option you might think. I've learnt to my cost!

Excellent product!
I was apprehensive to buy this type of caulk as I'd seen so many negative reviews, however, this one came out top, and I'm certainly glad I took the gamble! I can only presume those having problems didn't follow the instructions, as we found it worked perfectly. The bathroom has a beautiful, professional looking finish to it now, all down to some DIY, if a housewife like me can manage to correctly install this caulk, then anyone can, haha!
