Clorox Healthcare Bleach Germicidal Cleaner Spray, 22 Ounces (68967)

Family member, unfortunately, caught C-Diff. We used this product and also the Chlorox Fusion Germicidal version to combat the infection. Due to our strict cleaning with the right cleaners, no one else was infected and our family member recovered with just one episode so far (been 4 months). While the bleach version of this product works it smells very strongly of bleach and ruins clothes and some surfaces. The Fusion cleaner, on the other hand, kills the C-Diff virus sooner (2 minutes vs 3 minutes for the bleach version) and does not bleach out clothing and so far no other surfaces - and the best part it smells much better than the bleach version of this product. The fumes for this product were overwhelming and can not be healthy for someone to breathe in a small bathroom area. I will never buy the bleach version again but use the Fusion product instead.

Bottle was empty. Inside the bag there was dry residue all over. No moisture anywhere that may indicate it leaked during shipping. Parts of the green coloring on the bag were bleached or melted off.There was no damage to the shipping box, and no indicators of leakage in the box (to the box or other products). This leaves the impression it leaked out in the warehouse, and fully dried, before it even shipped. They likely shipped it empty with no quality assurance!Upon completion of the refund/replace system on Amazon, I just received a notice that there are no returns. The end. No other option. So I contacted Amazon via their chat support and they replaced it without issue.The replacement arrived soon enough. The bottle was mostly full, but there was moisture in the bag. Be careful when opening that you don't let any drip on your clothes. I feel it was full enough, as in maybe an inch down from the cap, to not care. But clearly it had still let out enough to be able to drip a little out of the bag.I assume the product is good and works as intended. I don't have any reason to knock points for it being bleach, as expected. But the cap seems to be loose and it may leak a little during shipping, if it didn't already leak out in the warehouse. With one completely empty bottle and its replacement clearly having leaked enough for its containing bag to drip a little, I can't give this a five.

I received the product on December 11th 2017 and the expiration on the bottle is for December 21st 2017, there is no seal on the bottle. The products exterior is somewhat faded.

I purchased this product when my husband and I got the flu a few weeks ago to clean door knobs, handles etc in the house. Now with Corona in the picture and my exposure as a nurse, I be am thrilled that I still have some left.

C.diff is a very nasty bug that leaves long lasting spores almost impossible to kill. Fortunately, this Clorox product is hospital strength, and will kill C.diff spores (with a 5 minute contact time.) We use this primarily for cleaning bathroom areas where we can leave it soak for the required amount of time before wiping it up. Use caution and understand this is a very strong bleach agent that will definitely ruin colored clothing, towels, or other fabrics not designed to be bleached. We always use rubber/nitril gloves and white cotton wash cloths or paper towels when cleaning up with this. It would make a super general purpose bathroom cleaner, but it's too expensive for that.
