I first tried Vermont Curry when I got a variety pack of different curries to try. I keep going back to Vermont though, it's our favorite! The medium isn't spicy but has a good flavor. We like using it with rice, pasta and on mashed potatoes, you can just change up the veggies.

We have bought this repeatedly. Makes a great, quick dinner.

This is the roux in my opinion. I originally had to order it from a Japanese store, but it is very convenient now that Amazon carries it.

This order was exactly what I was expecting.. it's not an amazing bang for your buck deal, but it's what it should be priced at normally. I was happy to see these came with an expiration date of over 1 year from when I received them. So I feel better knowing I wasn't being sent an old product. Overall this was a decent ordering experience.

We usually buy this from our local Asian market however, they no longer carried it. We were very excited to find here and at a great value! The curry is not heat "hot" but rather a very nice warming spicy. Using the directions on the package we are able to make 15 meals with the curry blocks which feeds 6! (this includes 3 teens!)

start 3 cups of basmati rice ahead of time so its ready when this is made. I diced an onion and sauteed in a 4 quart pot with olive oil until caramelized. Added 3 lbs of chicken breast cut into 1 inch cubes and a small bag (1 lb maybe) of baby potatoes cut in half. cooked those together until the chicken gets a tan. then add 5 1/4 cups of hot water and a whole brick of this curry. Stir gently until it boils hard then let it cool to a slow simmer. by now your rice is done and you can serve this deliciousness right over top of it. feeds a family of 4 no prob.
