I bought this set of DMC embroidery floss when I wanted to learn how to embroider. It includes 35 great colors of a very high-quality floss that are all very versatile! The tin is a big bonus - I have used it to store all of my floss colors, even as I have added several new ones over the past few months. It's the perfect size and shape and it's easy to pack in my bag or to store in my sewing cabinet. Overall, this set is a great option for both beginners and seasoned sewers. It's a great value for the price, and I highly recommend it!

I love using DMC floss for my cross stitching crafting. (I rather have a collection, if you will.) I always love seeing these curated boxes of materials because, well, I love storage boxes; and I love to see what's new and available. Cost wise: I would say you can get more value if you go to one of the box stores (that usually has it available for .50-.75 per skein, especially if you can find a good sale IF you are doing a project and need specific colors to the project.) But I do love the storage box this comes in and having the variety of colors that comes in this particular box. (These types of units may be more suited for those create smaller scale cross stitch patterns in multiple colors. If you tend to create larger pieces with only 1-3 colors, this may not be something you want/need.)This box of curated skeins does have pattern/projects included for you to utilize the skeins available in the box, which is a good value (being patterns can be pricey, depending on what you're looking for.) However, you would need to be willing to make one of the patterns included.Overall, depending on what kind of cross-stitch crafter you are, this is a lovely and valuable box of materials and patterns.

I love the beautiful assortment of quality DMC threads packed in this long, flat collectible tin box. The thread skeins are so neatly packed and gently stuck to a sturdy sheet of thin plastic so they stay in order until they are used up.The bright turquoise tin is about 14 1/2" long and 7 1/2" wide. It only measures 1" thick so it will fit into my drawer with the rest of my embroidery supplies. The top comes off completely - there is no hinge. Inside the box is a thick piece of white foam that will hold any loose thread skeins in place so there isn't a big jumble of threads when I open the box. It is great that the foam holds every skein in place.I like that the box is thick enough to hold 3 or 4 layers of DMC thread skeins so I can store my entire collection in one spot. It would also work to store a project-in-progress along with these 35 skeins (probably need to leave the foam piece out though), but I'm going to use this pretty tin to store all my DMC threads together.Also included is an embroidery chart for two beach scenes using just the colors in this tin. That's handy because I can start right in without having to shop for additional colors I might not own.

This is my first time ordering a DMC tin & I was so surprised by the size! It's substantial! It's a beautiful tin, perfect for storage.The threads themselves are exactly what I expect from DMC. Beautiful quality, beautiful colors, & well organized. They're so lovely & really set apart from the rest in terms of quality.It's always a joy to add new colors to my collection, & now I know what the fuss is over these tins, they're so fun!

This embroidery floss is the same that is sold at Joann. Same color numbers same brand, same, same same.The tin is a nice way to store the floss. It comes with a color guide and two patterns. I love that I know have a stash of embroidery floss to go with my fabric stash.

Lo pedí dos veces las dos veces llegó en muy mal estado los hilos como las latas que se supone es un producto de gran calidad y más que es un producto de colección DMC , el embalaje fue pésimo para el producto, simplemente llegó en bolsa de plástico, para venir de otro país se sugiere mayor protección Llegaron los hilos en mal estado, estoy decepcionada!!!Leyendo reseñas parece que este vendedor así maneja su producto en distinta fecha y año es el mismo comentario … 👎
