My daughter absolutely loves this book! I use it at work alot and the children love it.

This book has a fantastic rhythm to it which attracts children to it instantly. I have read this to a class of 4-6 year olds and they love it especially when we try to do it again faster like it tells us to at the end of the book. The pictures are bright and clear and noone can resist the rhythm this book has.It is a really good way of introducing the idea of syllables and most of all it is a lovely fun book. I loved this book so much that I bought the board book version for my 1 year old niece.

This book has proved to be a great favourite with my two grandsons - 2 1/2 and 4 years, the rhythm helps to break the words into syllables, this is a great help for children who have delayed speech as it allows the child to establish the correct sounds, which then can be speeded up into common usage format.My boys just love the beat of the words and the book is read again and again and quoted from memory at odd moments .... absolutely fabulous! (granny loves it too as we dance along to the rhythm!!)

Amazing book with rhyme and rhythm! Love all the animals listed. Definitely improved my little one’s vocabulary. So much fun adding drums or a xylophone!

Brilliant book to teach young children the rhythm of words. You need to practise reading it aloud but once you have the right intonation it is perfect. Have used it with varying age groups and children love joining in with the drum beat.
