CLAMP for 1/2" Auto-Siphon

We have a small ice machine that has a drain tube going into a bucket beside it. We wanted to make sure the drain tube would not inadvertently be knocked out of the bucket, so we clipped the tube to the bucket with this. Works great! The product is good quality, feels very sturdy.

Used for a 1/2 inch siphon tube for extracting wine from carboys. The only issue is that when siphon is filled with wine the weight has a tendency to not allow the siphon to remain vertical and pull it off to one side. Once a couple of gallons are expelled from carboy it works fine. Gets annoying when racking and trying to keep off bottom.

Works great for clipping to the top of a carboy.

I really like this 1/2" siphon better than the 1/4" that I had. This one makes "Quick" work out of racking a five gallon charboy from one to the other. Powerful suction prevents any fruit sediment from clogging it up. It gets the job done very well, and leaves hardly any liquid behind.

It works OK but slips sometimes so I put two together to help lock it in, this was with a Home Depot bucket, I've tried other clips and there is no better option

I used a military water can to brew my cider so the clamp did not really fit my equipment. I'll try glass one day!

Make sure you have a 1/2" siphon. I had both half inch and 3/8" and they use different clips. This one is perfect for the 1/2".

Works as advertized

It's a perfect little thing but it's not tight AT ALL when it arrives. The plastic clamps are too loose. I tightened them with electric tape for 24H before use and all was good. When I'm done with it, I always put electric tape back on it for storage to prevent it from going back to it's original slack.

Basic design is excellent but this is way too big for a 1/2” hose as it easy pops out resulting in water going everywhere. You need to tape the opening and feed the hose through because just the natural coil of the hose is enough to pop it out of the holder.Seems like they are using the same clamp for a 3/4 and a 1/2”

It was as described. I misunderstood, but have found alternate uses for it
